Hello guys… I posted before about trying to find the right lace to adapt my veil (still can’t find it, but never mind). I now have another question for you… which veil “look” do you prefer, or would you have to see me in my dress first?
This is the only pic I could find of this look, and I still have no clue how she’s managed to attach that blusher like that. But never mind.

I love blusher veils, I think the first or second look would work the best with the trimming that is on the veil, so the trimming is further down the front and not up near your face, distracting the eye 🙂

I personally prefer look 1, but it really depends on your dress. Look 1 would match most dresses, while looks 2 and 3 are for simpler dresses.

Bumpety bump… I’m surprised at the lack of love for look 3, actually!

I would love to see the dress first…so that option got my vote.

I have no experience in veils, but is it possible that the 3rd look is a double layer veil?
I love the way it looks by the way! But I think it would help voters to see your dress first. Good luck!

I voted for #1…I like to see a bride’s face, and #1 looks very elegant to me :).

Well… the dress may be subject to change… er… I ordered a custom dress without trying on a similar style, because I simply couldn’t find anything similar in the shops. Of course, sods law… this season then more modest dresses are in…
The ceremony dress I have is beautiful. Every time I see it on the hanger I get excited. That is… until I try it on. Because I don’t feel beautiful in it. In an attempt to find out what tweaks and minor alterations would make it work for me, I cheated on the dress. And, of course, I found a dress I felt beautiful in, which was a different silhouette altogether. So I am now considering ordering a new dress… as soon as I can afford it, that is! But whatever happens, the dress will be lacy.
As far as the veil is concerned, I think there may be a fourth option… a raw edged, detachable blusher which lies very flat on the head. I’m making a mock up as we speak (they’re so cheap to make) so once I get my velcro in then I’ll show you some pics… even if I don’t use it then it is so cheap to make that it doesn’t matter!
