Normally I would say if you have a complex dress you should go with a simpler veil, or vice versa, but I rather like Number 1 with it.
i agree with caitlanc, go simple! have you considered a shorter veil? the back of the dress is so elaborate, i wouldn't want to cover it up! how do you plan on wearing your hair?
I'm wearing my hair half up. Something lsimilair to the pic attached. What about this new veil?

I also think your dress is beautiful and elaborate and that a smaller, much simpler veil would look better and not take away from your gorgeous dress. I like the new veil you posted better because it is shorter and won't cover up all the details in your skirt!
