I like the diamond band w/ the milgrain, however, it seems like at certain points in the band, it’s really thin (where the marquis shape and the round shape connects) and I’d be afraid of it breaking. Then again, I’m kind of paranoid about those types of things… but it is lovely!
@LadyMoriarty: My jeweller was concerned about that too! I have super skinny fingers (US size 2.5) so I am having it custom made. He will be making sure there is added platinum on the inside of the band for added strength. He assured me that so long as it is made well, there should be no problem. Do you think I could wear it with my Ering or would the band be better on its own?
Looking for more opinions 🙂
I prefer the first one!
I love the first one, it will look so gorgeous with your ring!
I DID NOT VOTE (and here is why)
BOTH the rings are nice, and I think they’d go well with your ERing
I am not a fan of milgrain bands, although I find them very pretty… I also tend to find them uncomfortable / itchy.
So, my best advice is try em on… spend a good bit of time in the store with it on… at least a half hour or more (or find out if you can exchange it within a certain amount of time / days)
You want to “test drive” this type of ring for sure.
Hope this helps,
@This Time Round: I was able to try on a VERY similar ring a little while ago (platinum, milgrain, bezel, just not very well made). I had the ring on for about 20 mins & I was fine. My only worry is I have not seen the other ring IRL, I would love to see how it looks.
I love the first one! That one definitely has my vote, especially if the jeweler would be able to add more platinum so it is stronger
First one goes with your ring a lot better than the second. Plus, I love that style of ring!
This is the second band but in rose gold so you can see the detail a little better
