    I thought you had decided to get the twisty channel set band?

    I say the 10k band because it’ll be the more secure option for when you’re doing outdoorsy stuff.  the eternity band is more likely to catch on things

    Since you’re talking a stand alone option, I’d pick the first one.

    I like the diamond band as I have one too…actually it has been hotter then hell at my work so i have only been wearing mine and it is simple. The first one doesnt scream wedding band to me.

    @Scintillante:  Hehe…which do I prefer? Well…

    The most practical option if you do not want to wear your wedding set would be the twisty one.  As I said on your other thread, I know someone with a band almost identical to the one you posted and she wears it practically 24/7.  She too has a beautiful wedding set, but she never wears it; she’ll wear it only when going out somewhere, like out to dinner or something like that.  The twisty one provides a little bit of sparkle without it being over the top, plus the diamonds are pretty well protected by the channel setting.

    However, I am not always the most practical gal Laughing

    I just went through this myself.  I reset my original e-ring diamond but found out it was cracked so I returned the setting and kept debating on a new band for myself.  I already had a half eternity band, but I didn’t think it was substantial enough to wear it on it’s own.  I debated between a channel set half eternity band (more practical) or a 7 stone prong set band.  I bought the 7 stone band b/c I love the sparkle. Smile  Plus, I already had a plain tungsten band for those days that it’s not practical to wear a diamond band.

    My mom had an eternity band that she wore on a daily basis for many years.  It wasn’t practical but she didn’t care.  Sadly it did eventually break and she still hasn’t had it fixed.

    So I guess if it were up to me, I would get the twisty one.  That was your first choice anyway and we always tend to second guess ourselves.  Stick with your first instinct.

    I like the diamond eternity band best.
