I went to look at wedding bands today and all along I thought I knew what I wanted but just wanted confirmation and to make sure there wasnt any really cool thing that I never knew existed. Enter the “Buckle” enhancer…. I saw a weird shaped ring and was curious tried it on and fell in love. But now I dont know what to get!
This is my ring
I always thought I wanted an infinity band like this
(couldnt find a picure online so I *borrowed* a fellow bee’s pic)
This is a buckle enhancer in rose gold.
What do you girls think? I love the look and assymetry of the buckle but is it too trendy? not weddingy? too weird? too assymetrical? Don’t know what to do… I do know I couldnt take it off… I kept turning it this way and that way. But in the long run will I like the infinity band better? Who knows? It’s definitely more classic. Help?

Does that add another halo around the ring? I am having a hard time clearly seeing the last picture. The amount of bling is up to you. The only disadvantage I could see to the second option is that you could not wear the wedding band separately if you ever wanted to. I occasionally have times I don’t want to wear my ER and find it easier to wear either a plain band or an eternity band, but I also know a lot of people who never wear them separately or have them soldered together. Is there any possibility of getting the blingy one you like now and getting the simple eternity band for an anniversary? That way you could have both options.

I voted for the eternity band, but if you are drawn towards the enhancer, go for it! Do you have a stock photo of it?

This is a buckle in rose gold but around a solitare. Mine has the infinitaly band around the ER

I figured I’d get very bored with an eternity style wedding ring, and I’m looking at what will make me happy rather than what’s expected as a wedding ring.. I think you should get what you love, and you know you will continue to love, not what you thought you’d want. I love the buckle enhancer!

Omg, thank you for introducing the buckle enhancer to me! It’s just so elegant and original!! I love the contrast of the rose gold around your e-ring. It’s more unique than an eternity band, for sure. If you’re someone who wants to stand out a little, go for it!!

I like the infinity MUCH better. The buckle one looks like the jeweler screwed up. Maybe it looks better in person.
But really, get whichever one YOU prefer; it’s your ring!

I agree with the PP in regard to choosing the infinity so that you can wear it alone without your ering sometimes. The buckle would look odd alone. I do love the mixing of golds though! My ering is similar to yours and I have a rose gold infinity band,

Love the idea of getting both. Now to convince the fiance…
It adds a half of a halo around the ring. It’s kinda strange, but I kinda like it

I went today and ordered them and I wish I had a picture of what i got!
I ended up going with an infinity band but it’s a little different and has lots of small circles that end up imitating my engagement ring. It’s beautiful! Im so excited!!!!
THanks Bees with the Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
