First one! The colour looks great on your skin & looks elegant, but even though I try to zoom in I can’t see any of the details of the second one…

I like the first one because I personally find it more visually interesting.  They’re both very beautiful on you.

Like you, I had narrowed my selection down to two very different choices.  I decided on my wedding dress because while one made me feel more like a bride, the other made me feel more like….me.  When I closed my eyes and imagined looking at the pictures a year from now, I was wearing the one that was more like me.

I think I like the first one better, but I also think you can do way better!

aconnor82:  Nope!  I can’t wait to wear it in August 🙂  Realistically, I’ll probably second guess myself at some point simply because that’s what I always do.  But I know when I put it on I’ll remember why it was the right dress for me.

The first one is so lovely with your skin tone! And I think the shape is more flattering too.

aconnor82:  I’d say the first one, but I think you can find better.

I like the first one! It’s got such a dreamy quality to it, and I love the colour.

I prefer the second dress. I think it’s more elegant than the first dress, which, in my opinion, has a lot of competing details.

aconnor82:  I was referring to the multi-directional pleating on the bodice, the satin sash at the waist, the diagonal drop waist, the pleated organza overlay on the skirt, the border on the bottom, the ruffles on the back, etc.

Certainly, some of the details are beautiful. However, when I look at the dress, my eye is immediately drawn in several different directions at once to investigate all of these details.  In my opinion, the second dress presents a more elegant, classic, cohesive look that focuses attention on the bride and not on the details of the dress.

Brielle:  +1 Exactly my thoughts. OP, I think the first gown might work better without the sash. There are definitely a lot of different elements that’s distracting me from the overall impact of the gown on you.
