Disney World sounds like my worst nightmare so I would choose the Sandals option 🙂  But which resort are you thinking?

Gosh these two are night and days apart…

One is a very active holiday, the other one far more relaxing.

So it will come down to WHAT TYPE OF HONEYMOON you and your man would like most…

Curious, which Sandals location are you considering ?

If you want kids, you’ll do Disney with them someday. If it’s between those two, i’d choose Sandals.

While I don’t want to knock anyone’s idea of a honeymoon, I really don’t understand the idea of Disneyworld for a honeymoon. All I envision are screaming children everywhere!!! hahaha.

I love rides and adventure, but I think that I would save that trip for when I have kids of my own, and take the time for a more romantic, child-free vacation while you still can!

I vote Sandals, because it is romantic and someplace just for adult couples. I went there on my honeymoon and really enjoyed it.

I didn’t go to Disney World until I was 18.  It was just me and my parents, and I thought it was AWESOME.  Heck, people get married there!  If you’re concerned about hordes of screaming children, check out this calendar of crowd levels.

@sheila.sierra.37:  i’d be picking a sandals over disney.  you can do disney later when you have children.  you can’t take them to sandals (adults only resorts).

Ugh I agree with others, Disney World sounds like my idea of a honeymoon nightmare. Nothing sexy or relaxing about it. I always get slightly creeped out by Disney obsessed couples (sorry if that is anyone here!) Sandals all the way.

sandals. same with others– being surrounded by children isn’t my idea of a nice honeymoon. it’s more of a family getaway.

TO @sheila.sierra.37:  Antigua is a GORGEOUS Island.  And a safe one, so you’ll be able to venture off the resort for activities as well.

Mr TTR and I stopped in Antigua on our Honeymoon Criuse, and we would most definitely go back there… LOVED that Island and the People (very British)

Have also had several friends holiday there, and they all rave about it.

Are you thinking June immediately after the Wedding, or are you planning to post-pone the Wedding a tad ?

Ok… I love Disney World. More now than when I was a child, but certainly NOT for a honeymoon. I do not want to be surrounded by ridiculous crowds, whining children and long lines in the heat while on my honeymoon. That does not sound romantic to me in the least. However, I know quite a few people who did Disney for their honeymoons and were perfectly happy with it. My vote is for Sandals.
