Hmm hard call… I like the dog pillow but the ruffly pillow kind of matches a little better with your venue. However, the doggie looks vintage too. Sorry, I’m no help.

Ruffles match your theme. Dog has more persoanlity and fun.

In your place I would probably pick the dog. Anybody who doesn’t “get it” can ask, or they’re just a grump.

Hmm, I think using the dog pillow will seem a little weird. In my opinion it’s not about non-dog lovers not getting it but about the dog pillow being incongruent with your theme.

Besides, nobody will really be able to see the shape of the dog pillow when it’s being held horizontally but everyone will be able to see the floral pattern which does not really go with the feel of your wedding and your bridesmaids’ lavender dress…I don’t know maybe I just don’t really dig this floral pattern, haha..I think it would be nicer if the doggie pillow came in white.

I think the ruffle pillow is really lovely and has a vintage feel that goes with your wedding!

If you would rather have the dog pillow as an homage to your dog, ask the designer to make a dog pillow in the same fabric as the ruffled pillow. Have a ruffle around the neck of the dog as a collar.

I don’t think the floral fabric is outside of your theme by much. I mean you have multi colored flowers in vases and varying floral seating cards. I’d maybe go with a more toned down floral, but it’s definitely not a complete departure. Maybe do a lacey bow collar!

I like the ruffle pillow much better.  The dog pillow just doesn’t seem to “fit” IMO (and I’m a dog lover).
