i live in a place where there aren't really seasons, so i don't know how the rule applies to the rest of the world, but i don't listen to it.
I just bought a "winter white" sweater the other day, so I think the rule doesn't apply. ;) Anyway, I base what I wear on the climate, not the date, and I think that's fine.
That rule is no longer. Wear white any time! And even if people say something, who cares.
Aw dude i wear whatever i want. Although everything 'white white' i own is capris and too cold for st louis in winter. i do have some long white pants. They're chic, classy, very Jackie-O in my book.
I do loooove me some winter white though
agree with all these ladies above... white rule is old school. wear it all year-round.
you live in tx, it's warm there, wear white all the time! Though what better time to wear white than winter, anyway? i love my white vest in snowy times. I almost make a point to wear it, i like it so much, but it's warm where i live. Those old traditional rules are meant to be broken.
One of my very best friends is a stylist and she always says, where what you want! Fashion is freedom, but I still don't know about the white thing....
How jealous am I that you live somewhere where you can be warm enough in white crop pants today? I was going to say that it would look a little strange, but I think it's all relative to where you live. Even though it's unseasonably warm here now, usually crop pants aren't seen too often in Michigan in November. ;)
I hate the rule. I'll wear what I want when I want to wear it, so there old rules :P
I don't get the rule. Really. I just wear whatever I want whenever I want.
The rule doesn't make sense and it's totally stupid. Have we not all seen beautiful white fall/winter coats? I absolutely hate those "rules" some self-acclaimed fashionista always nag about. Seriously, I've been told I can't wear all kinds of colors because of this and that.. Totally ridiculous.
Rules are meant to be broken, I always say, haha.
What happens if you are getting married after labour day - your not supposed to wear white? :-P
forget about the rules! i wear white all the time! i actually have more white sweaters than darker color sweaters
