I think either would look fine although I’m leaning ever so slightly towards ranunculus. What color are the gentlemen’s ties going to be? That might factor into which color to go with.

Just looking at them as flowers? I prefer the white, but as a bout? I think the colour of the orange would pop better. I agree with a pp that the colour of ties would matter. If they are orange I would go for white, if they are a fairly neutruel colour, I would go for orange.

They both look nice but I’m going to go with my favorite and that’s the ranunculus

I originally voted for the anemone.  However, if the men’s ties are dark grey, I think the orange ranunculus will really pop!

I voted for the anemone just because it’s one of my favorite flowers. I think the white flower would look very clean and modern with the suits/ties you are describing. however, if your wedding is more romanticy than formal/modern I would go with the raunculus…

dianabee:  With grey ties, that solidly pushes me over to the orange for the bit of color.

If you’re primarily interested in aesthetics, I like the ranunculus better. FYI though, unless you’re using artificial versions of these flowers, both of them are relatively fragile and may not last through very many hugs. Anemones can be especially delicate.

dianabee:  I’m doing rununculus for our bouts so I’m totally biased. I say rununculus! They just look so pretty and sweet.

Love the pop of color (I’m doing yellow freesia bouts) so I vote for the ranunculus.  Just make sure that you either skip pocket squares or do plain white ones or it might look like too much going on.
