Ahh!  After weeks of looking for this veil in-store and online, and unsuccessfully finding any that were availalbe (or what i was willing to pay for a used one), I finally bit the bullet and bought the White by Vera Wang Ivory Cathedral Veil (VW370024) online today.  I got 10% off by using the "SAVINGS" promo code, plus I got free shipping; $15 off isn't much but it was still better than paying full price in-store, and not to mention that if I change my mind (which I probably won't because I can not wait to wear it May 26th!) i can return it since it is an online order.  Anyone else wearing this veil?  What do y'all think?

@aliciajogardner:  I love it!! so pretty...I was just looking to see if anyone had pictures of it on since the one online doesnt give you the image since the model is sitting. Since the cathedral is dramatic itself I dont think it needs any detailing. Great choice. :-) 

@alphafemaleny:  thank you!   I'm so excited; I checked my email all day yesterday to see if DB had shipped it yet lol... pathetic--I'm a slave to the wedding planning.  Are you going to wear this one?

How are you thinking of wearing your hair?  I want to wear it (the veil) high on my head but can't think of a good hair style for that unless it's down and I don't want to do that.  Any ideas?

The veil looks GORGEOUS, I'm getting that exact allure gown. I just cant decide if I want chapel or cathedral length, I keep goin back and forth between the two. For the reception I am doing a birdcage veil to change it up a little bit

That is exactly what I am doing... birdcage for the reception. Initially I wanted a birdcage for the ceremony but we are getting married in large catholic church with a Looongg aisle so I figured the cathedral veil would be most appropriate.  I wanted a lace around the ends of the veil but as you probaly already know, it completely clashed with all of the design on the dress--lol--so i opted for a plain one and loved it!

Do you have pictures of you in your dress?  I just love that dress!  I was looking on theknot.com at all the new things designers were putting on dresses for 2012 and our dress fits the bill. :0)
