I really like the look of mixed metals.
I'm going to get a rose gold band to stack with my current platinum wedding band for when I don't wear my e-ring.
I didn't take a picture of the stack when I had it on unfortunately, but the white metal next to the rose gold looked really nice.
I also really like the look of mixed metals, especially rose and white gold. But definitely try to find somewhere where you can see it on your finger before committing...I was dead set on a rose gold bezel set band and hated the mixed metal look on MY finger with my ering. Also something to keep in mind, 18kt and 14kt rose gold are very different colors.
Does anybody have photos of their white gold/rose gold combo? I'd love to see! :)
It is what I am going to do, I posted a lot of inspiration pictures in this thread:

My e ring band is rose gold, and the stone is set in white. Then my wedding band is white. Not sure if this is helpful to you, since you want a plain band. Sorry, these are cell phone pictures.
I have a white gold e-ring with a yellow gold band and a rose gold band with little diamongs and I think the combo looks really pretty...I think your idea sounds lovely!

I'm going to do this---my engagement ring is a platinum solitare and my wedding band is rose gold. I like mixed metals and am not a matchy-matchy' person, so I say go for it!
We just bought our rings this past weekend and going in i was set on the rose gold band with diamonds on the top half. My e-ring is white gold. the lady at the jewelers was hesitant to say she liked it because it was so different. I agree! It is really different, but that's what I loved about it! I'm SO happy with my decision. I think it looks really high fashion and elegant, but also somewhat modern. I can't wait until July 14th when I can actually wear it! EEEE!
I love the look of mixed metals. I do it all the time. Rose and white gold especially looks beautiful together. If you love it, do it!

Hey guys,
My engagement ring is a three stone made with white gold.I have been thinking about a plain rose gold thin wedding band. Would this look weird? I like two-toned rings, but I wanted to see what you guys think. Here is my engagement ring:
