Right now we are booked for June 10th, a Sunday brunch wedding. We are toying with the idea of an early March brunch wedding.
A co-worker told me a white, ivory, champagne and gray wedding would be too drab. I’m going for a vintage casual low-fuss ceremony and reception. We are inviting about 150, but expecting 80. No attendants.
I just like the simple look.
Do you think I need bright colors?

@miss216: I have the same colors, Ivory and gray and trust me , everything looks so elegant. That is the look I am going for, simple and elegant.
Go with it, you will not be dissapointed. I can show you some if my decoration and stationery so you have an idea.

I don’t think you need bright colours. Just make sure you have enough contrast between. Good luck.

Thanks ladies for your input! This may change now, of course, as I’m possibly going with a champagne gown! I can’t have the white and ivory colors outdoing me

I think that sounds stunning and elegant. Not drab at all! Please do what you want, it will be beautiful. Bright colours are not for everyone.
