My dress is ivory and I'm thinking of going with a multi colored bouquet. Since we're getting married in Sept., I'm thinking wildflowers....nothing too fussy or put together.
My dress is a light gold/ivory color and I'm going with a multi-colored bouqet. I like the look of lots of different colors, to me it's more interesting.
I'm going to have my ladies carry mostly white bouquets to stand out against their colored dress while I will have the colors of the dresses in mine to stand out against my white dress! I love this look!
I'm doing something similar to what HumarockBride is doing. My BM's are wearing blue dresses and will carry mostly white flowers (with perhaps a little blue thrown in). I'll be carrying mainly blue flowers with a little white/cream in there to spruce it up. I just love the way it's going to look!
@ DC Anna....that sounds pretty! What flowers are you going to use for blue?
I'm going to have an arrangement of white stargazers and mini black calla lilies with grape hyacinths, but I've always wanted to somehow incorporate a peacock feather in with my bouquet...still trying to figure out how without clashing too much.
I had pink tulips. I was afraid all white wouldn't stand out as much.
My dress is ivory - I keep going back and forth between a multicolor bouquet (oranges, yellows) and an all orange bouquet. My opinion is that color against a white dress looks fabulous.
I'm also doing white bouquets for the bridesmaids and blue for me. Their dresses are teal ("tropical aqua" according to J.Crew). I really wanted the pop of color. To me, an all white dress with an all white bouquet seems a little boring. It works for others, just not for me.
My dress is white, but I'm using hot pink and burnt orange flowers with green hypericum berries and hydrangeas as a base to the bouquet. I really debated about whether to use white or colored flowers, but I decided that I loved the idea of having bright colors pop against the white of my dress.
my dress is a champagne ivory. i was afraid the white would look too stark against my dress. so while my bouquet is multi colored, i am going with soft muted tones of white, peach, ivory, and super SUPER pale pink. so it doesn't look too bland but it won't be a huge pop of color either. my main concern was that i wanted to keep my flowers a bit on the neutral side since my wedding colors are earth tones like a cream and taupe.
planning on a multi colored bouquet with purple, lavender, plum, and yellow. maybe even some cream colored flowers.
im planning on a bouquet of muted pinks, yellows, oranges and some cream colored flowers. my maids will be carrying bright pinks, oranges, and probably some white.
BMs will be carrying bouquets of mainly ivories & neutrals. I think this will contrast nicely with their eggplant dresses. My bouquet will be varying shades of purple (eggplant & lilac).
Mine is going to be BRIGHT. I originally wanted mostly orange with purple accents, but then I saw this bouquet on proflowers.com and fell in love. The bridesmaids will wear dark purple dresses, carry orange and ivory and purple bouquets (the orange should "pop" against the dark purple) and mine will look like this.
I love the pop of color against a white dress...I will be doing a mixture of all red flowers with my white dress.
My dress is white with a black sash and I went for the mix of deep red roses and white roses.
My dress was diamond white and I went with bright reds and oranges. I loved the pop of color. The BMs had aqua dresses with bright orange bouquets. Kinda fun and funky!
I do love the white bouquets with ethereal dresses, very soft and flowy. It just seems so romantic...
Lots of summery colours in mine! My MOH and flower girls are all in different colours (lilac, salmon, petal green) and I'm in white. I just gave the flower guy swatches and some photos of mixed bouquets and said "fly at 'er".
I got married in September and I wore white and carried red roses - my girls wore red (the same shade as my roses) and carried all white roses. I LOVE how the pictures look :-)
i love how elegant white and white looks! i am doing white calla lillies, and then the bms are carrying pink calla lillies. my color pop will be my fuschia shoes!
mine was orange/yellow/red.

i chose to go with the colored bouquet and my bridesmaids had the white bouquets to contrast their very bright orange dresses. :)
I am making the bouquets out of fabric, and am planning to make them out of our wedding colors...whatever our colors end up being!
Best Wishes!
I'm planning on doing an all one color bouquet. I know white is traditional, but I want a bouquet that stands out against my dress!
I decided that I was wearing white (well - off white but whatever) and wanted my flowers to stand out. I LOVED IT! THey were bright adn beautiful, they didnt distract from my dress like some people thought. HIGHLY recommend!!

Question for you all ----- if you're wearing a dress in the white "family" was (or will) your bridal bouquet be all white, mixed or another single color? I am SO torn!!!! I'm wearing white and can't decide if I want the "classic" all white look or a pop of color.
