My dress is ivory and the flower girls are in ivory, too. The tulle is ivory on our backrop but the columns are white...
I think that having it all one color would give it a more cohesive look. Sometimes, if you put white and ivory together, it will make the ivory look dirty.
I agree with noritake22 that sometimes white makes ivory look dingy. I'd go ivory all the way.
My dress is ivory too. I have flowergirl to match. Guys are in tan suits, so should their shirts be white or ivory???
Ivory!!! You dont want to not look like the brightest thing in the place!
Ivory is more elegant. Go with that. And I also think you should match your flower girl's dress.
I am in ivory,Fi is wearing a ivory shirt and flower girl is in ivory..
I must be the exception. My dress is ivory, but we are doing a black and white wedding. My BMs are wearing black, the boys are in black tuxes with white shirts and black silver and white ties. I'm not concerned about looking dirty.. also, I'm not concerened about people comparing my table linens to my dress. the cake was easier to make white, the invites were easier to make white, etc.. so it's black and white.
My boquet will be shades of white and ivory.
