Ok so my wedding dress is ivory with a long train, four of my bridesmaids are in pink with ivory accents and three in green with ivory accents and my flower girls are in ivory with pink and green accents. Four of the groomsmen will be in pink ties and 3 in green ties all with ivory vests and shirts. I really wanted an ivory satin aisle runner but I couldn’t find one and I found a really nice, really reasonably priced white one and bought it. I also bought pink pomanders to hang from the pew candle holders but I’m also going to need pew bows to cover up the hooks at the top of where the pomanders hook into. The church has white satin cords that they drape in swags every 4 aisles that also hook into the pew candle holders.
The big question – ivory pew bows to match the wedding party attire or white pew bows to match the aisle runner/satin cords? In truth I like ivory much better but I’m having a hard time visualizing how it will look next to the white aisle runner. At my house we have off white / cream colored walls and stark white baseboards and it looks really nice but I’ve read and been told that you don’t want to mix ivory and white at your wedding. What should I do?
