I said yes to the dress this past weekend and chose the allure P830 in ivory. I was wondering if there were any other allure brides out there that chose an ivory dress that could tell me if white or ivory shoes look best with allure lace. The allure lace is very close to white so it’s a harder decision than it seems! Thanks in advance!

Get some paint sample cards from the hardware store. Match it to your dress and carry it with you whenever you go shoe shopping. Be sure to match the swatches to your dress in different lighting to see what is best. Different lighting changes the colors. I do this with just about everything when I shop. No more guessing.

PP gave you a good idea. My idea would be to go with silver, gold or sparkle shoes. You won’t have to worry about matching colors then.

I have an ivory dress and ordered white shoes…they just didnt look right together…even though my lace was almost white something looked off… so im sending them back and getting ivory.

Don’t attempt to match your shoes to the lighter-toned lace. Instead, match them to the ivory tone of the base fabric of your gown. The other option is to choose a metallic, sparkly, or colored shoe, as white will not go well with an ivory dress.

You have to assume they won’t match exactly. it’s better to get slightly darker shoes, so it will make your dress look brighter. I say get the ivory shoes
