I don’t have an opinion on white sapphire vs. Moissanite, but I do think either one would look STUNNING in rose gold! (option A)

I say go with moissy—I have a diamond and I love it but as far as which other stones look the most like a diamond and have great sparkle–moissanite wins

It also comes down to do you care if it is a lab gem vs a mined gem. Although a lot of white sapphire on the market these  days is lab made anyway.

TBH, I don’t know much about sapphires vs. moissys, except from tidbits here and there….but are you set on that type of setting? I don’t like the flowers on the side, and personally feel like they don’t belong on a forever ring, if this is going to be your forever ring. I feel like they make the ring look somewhat costume-ish? Hope I didn’t offend, just giving my opinion.

I’m a rose gold girl…I think it looks lovely with diamonds, saphhire, or moissanite. I personally don’t have a preference to either one of those stones though. I’m completely open to alternative stones such as sapphire or moissanite, especially if it means I get a bigger rock, lol!

I was looking at those same rings, btw! Nice choice!

I’m actually ordering my upgrade set from the same designer!! I don’t have much info on the differences in stones, but the rings are gorgeous!

I think option A with a moissy and rose gold would be stunning! I have a moissy and love it-I’m really hard on my jewelry and so far I have had no problems at all. I don’t know about the durability of rose gold though, but it is really beautiful!

I voted moissanite and rose gold. That first ring is awesome!

I’ve had natural sapphire, unenhanced moissanite and diamond in my rings. Here what I found about the stones.

Natural white sapphire that is very well cut looks gorgeous, not glassy. It has a beautiful subtle rainbow in the sunlight. In the low light it shines white light as oppose to rainbow. It gets white film with daily wear and has to be cleaned on regular basis to look good.

Lab created white sapphire looks glassy and transparent. I have tried many on, none looked as good as the natural stone. I think that has something to do with the bad cut in most stores. Mine was custom cut in Ireland.

Unenhanced moissanite is very low maintenance. It sparkles like crazy in all lighting conditions. Soap and water does the trick if it does look dirty.

If I would ever consider a diamond it would be lab created but the price is still very high! http://gemesis.com/

ETA: Rose gold wears the same as yellow gold. It doesn’t need plating like some white golds.

I voted C because I don’t care for split shanks. But I would choose rose gold for it.

I don’t know about white sapphire vs. moissanite, but I love the settings!  I had my eyes on that designer too! 🙂  One question I had though that you might consider asking him if you decide on white gold is how he gets the brushed finish on the white gold flowers.  The white gold is given a whiter appearance by dipping in rhodium, which is a shiny finish.  The reason I ask is that my brother’s fiance had a brushed platium setting for her e-ring, and they got a brushed white gold wedding band to go with it. The brushing made the wedding ring look a bit yellow-ish because they had to brush off some of the rhodium to create the effect.  I’m sure he has a method that won’t yellow the flowers, but worth asking before you take the plunge!
