Hi!  I’m in your same situation except mine is the other way around.  I have a white dress and ivory sash.  Since I don’t think it will work with my dress, I’m planning on selling my two gorgeous sashes.  I attached pics if you’re interested, PM me.  By the way, your dress is gorgeous!!

@Vintage Princess:  I think from the front it looks beautiful, but in the back, the white satin against the ivory lace is… odd.  Could you dye the white satin part in the back to match the ivory?  Or have the sash re-made on matching satin?

    It looks beautiful though!

Could you have a seamstress take off the beaded section and attach it to a ivory ribbon instead? I think most beaded sashes have beads sewn onto a backing, not directly onto the ribbon.

I would just remove the ribbon portion that is white and have the beaded portion sewn onto your dress. No one would even know.

Your sash & dress are both gorgeous!  I’d either remove the sash & add to an ivory ribbon, or sew the beaded portion directly on to the dress.  See which a seamstress would think is best!
