Wasn’t sure where to post this, but hoping someone on here can shed some light on this for me. I’ve just spotted tiny white dots on my nipples, which I’ve never had before And tmi but white stuff comes out if I squeeze the whitehead looking dots… I just had a breast augmentation a week ago and they did a pregnancy test before surgery and they didn’t say it was positive so I assume it was negative since they did the surgery. My cycle is late by a week but I know this is normal after having surgery.. But I never heard of anyone getting these white dots after a BA before. Like I said, I’ve never had them before so was curious if it was something that was triggered through surgery or what was going on? Thanks to anyone who responds!

Quicksand: Obviously you can’t get a diagnosis online, but they could be normal Montgomery Glands. They can be more obvious at times such as pregnancy and lactation, but also with such simple things as pressure from tight fitting clothes. Are you wearing a new bra with your new breasts?

I forgot to say that you can ask the doc on your follow up appointment for your BA.

julies1949: oh I know I can’t get a diagnosis online, but I’m not worried about it.. Just curious as to what may be causing it. I plan to ask the ps when I see him and no, I have not worn a bra the last couple of days as told by my doc and my clothes are rather loose as I’m still sore and swollen… So idt that’s it, but I could be wrong lol ..thanks! 🙂

I had white dots on my nipples too, just last week, also my nipples were very sensitive. But I did recently got off birth control pills so idk if it’s because of that? but I don’t have it anymore it went away after a couple of days. I dnt think you should worry! If anything call your doctor to see what’s up!

I agree with the other poster who said they are probably just your glands. Perhaps they’re just irritated/swollen from the surgery.

I get the same thing every few months, I asked my doctor about it and she said it was totally normal and just due to hormones. If you have recently had a boob job though I would be definitely asking the doctor just to be on the safe side. I assume you have a check up soon?

Quicksand: I agree with OP’s . They are likely your Montgomery Glands. They are probably more pronounced right now because of the sweeling and skin stretching after the surgery. If you are worried, call your surgeon for reassurance but I would bet alot of money on MG’s
