I wore a white vintage dress, and the pictures turned out very nice! I suppose it can depend on where you are taking pictures and what the weather is like.
I think white will turn out fine, I've seen tons of e-pics where the bride wore white. White especially looks amazing if you can find a wall with one bright color or a contrast against it.
Just make sure that it's not too sheer! If you wear colored or dark undergarments, they might show through in some lighting.

We took ours outside at the park, and the only thing the photographer said was to not wear green because it would look like we were competing with our surroundings!

Thank you guys so much for your advise... Since posting this I have been searching the net for engagement pics with white and I see sometimes it does seem a bit bright but only in certain light. Based on what I have seen I would be happy with the result! :-) I will post a few samples of my pics once I get them! - I cannot wait to see how they turn out.

I have heard that white will not turn out well in photographs. But I have this really cute dress I bought for my engagement pics (really the only thing I bought to wear to them) that I want to wear! What to do?? Has anyone does this - how did they turn out? Any advise out there??
