i think either works fine. The difference between ivory and white is [usually] so subtle. And you have this milky skin with dark hair - so either color will pop. And omg what a gorgeous dress!!!

the dress looks great on you. i think ivory will work best for your skin tone. i like white for tanned skin and ivory for everyone else. i'm asian and i can't even pull off white at the moment. i would have to go do some serious tanning first.
It's hard to tell which would look better with your skin tone from a picture on the computer.
However, like someone else said, the difference between the two colors is usually very subtle and nearly impossible to tell the difference unless they are right next to each other. Also, in your pictures, the lighting will make a huge difference in how your dress looks. In some of my pictures, my ivory dress looks pure white.
You're going to look beautiful!!!!
I agree with malisa0607 --I think that people with tan or darker complexions can pull off white-white and ivory, but that pale people should pretty much stick to ivory only.
I have pale freckly skin that tends to be on the pink side. my mom, sister and I all agree that I look better in ivory. white makes me look pinker, which I don't want.
I'm going to say white because it looks so bridal and I think you can DEFINITELY pull off white no problem :) The ivory looks a tad too creamy colored for me, just my opinion. Gorgeous dress!
Looks beautiful in either color, I personally prefer Ivory over stark white.
I prefer ivory myself. It looks much softer. Just remember to get the guys to wear ivory shirts and not white.
I think the ivory looks much better.
I also think pure white dreses look best on girls with darker skin tones. I agree with @cvbee: that the ivory looks more richer, too.
I like the white one on you. You look so lovely in it. Which dress is this by the way, its beautiful.
I prefer ivory in general, it's much softer than white. I also think that ivory will work better with your skin color!
IVORY!!! I I agree with Jeannine @ small chic white looks better on girls who have darker skin tones. I tried on my dress in white and I thought I looked so washed out! I always vote for Ivory :)
personally, i like the ivory better. i think in blindingly white gowns, it's harder to see details (same with straight black clothing).
besides... by itself, most people can't tell the difference. it's really only when you are comparing a white and ivory together that it becomes obvious.

HI Bees!
So this is my situation.... I'm not much of a girly girl so I'm going to need some advice on how skin tones and colours work. I originally tried on a white dress and loved it and when I ordered my wedding dress somehow I ended up with an ivory dress. Do you think it really matters? Which one would be best?
In ivory...
In white...
