sure it your wedding why not, I saw a hindu wedding on the tv as a small child and told my mother i would be marrying a hindu man so i could look that pretty on my wedding day :0 )
YES! I am Hindu, and I can assure you that you aren't offending anyone by choosing to wear a sari! I think it will look beautiful, especially if you are planning on including some Hindu/Indian elements in your wedding.
You can also choose a lengha, (skirt, blouse and shawl combo), some people find it easier to wear/move around in.

So, I'm not Indian - neither is my FI. He is not Hindu and, while I have never officially practiced or 'converted,' I believe in a lot of the religion and feel a deep spiritual connection with that part of the world and their culture.
I would love to wear a sari and incorporate some Indian/Hindu elements into our already eclectic wedding (he's wearing a Scottish kilt, his teenag daughter and her mom are Wiccan and she's obsessed with purple, having a fall colored wedding). Is that 'OK??'
