Ok, so we are having a wedding with twenty guests including the two of us.
Only the Groom’s father has a long way to travel and they will all be staying in hotels (not sure which one yet) Myself and the bridesmaids will be getting ready at my flat and then I guess my parents will come to my flat aswell. Groom will be getting ready with the ushers at the hotel I Think.
We are on a TIGHT budget so we only want to provide minimal transport. Am I right in thinking that there would be:
a car for the bride and the brides father
a car for the bridesmaids and mother of the bride

@JazzieB: I would say just the wedding party and both sets of parents. To make it easier, you could handle bride/groom side separately.

As long as your getting married at the hotel, and do not need transportaion for men, i would say one van should be ok for everyone.

@JazzieB: I think there are different customs over there in the UK, but I’d say it honestly depends on the distance between places. If things are, like, 15 minutes apart, I don’t think you need to provide transportation for anyone – we drove our own cars to our wedding and it was an hour from home.

Oh that’s good 🙂 the venue is only like five minutes from the hotel it’s right in the centre. We are on such a right budget I think we’re just doing taxis so I will be turning up at my wedding in a taxi! Haha
