I'm just curious to see how many brides plan to wear their wedding shoes again.
I bought purple heels and I definitely plan on wearing them again, although probably not all that often. I wasn't specifically looking for shoes that I knew I would wear again, it just worked out that way.
I don't like the idea of buying something to wear it once (except the dress), so I'm looking for shoes I'd like enough to wear again..
I tried mine on with jeans at the store, and said, these are pretty cute. I'll just have to get an ivory top to wear them with! So long as they aren't destroyed after my wedding, I'll definately wear them again.
I bought some sexy black heels. They are very cute but I just don't know when I will wear them again. I had every intention of doing so but they hurt like hell when I wore them at the wedding and now that I am pregnant, I have to wait until I can get myself into heels again.
I love my wedding shoes. To be honest, I don't know how I can make it another 6 weeks without wearing them! they go with EVERYTHING!

I wore white flat sandals. Pretty simple thong style with ankle bands. I wear them a LOT and they are really comfy!
Nobody really saw my feet anyways!

I plan on getting some loubs or choos in gold or purple, My shoes will be more then my 2 dresses combined! I will be wearing them again!
It was very important to me that I be able to wear the shoes again. I was considering satin and bright colors, but I knew I wouldn't wear even wear them.
I love the ones i chose and really wish I didn't have to wait until August to wear them!
i would but they KILLED my feet. like during the ceremony. i switched to flip flops out of my emergency bag for the reception because of the pain! I would have loved to re-wear them but ouch!
haha oh ouch @vistagirl, what brand were they? Yeah, it's good that I don't have the option of wearing more than a 2.5" heel, or else my dress would be too high off the ground... and I'd be the same height as my fiance, which he would hate!
HA!!! I had had my shoes for my wedding since back in middle school for prom. I loved them and they were versatile. If you can find them they are the silver with the clear heel and over lay on them. They sometimes have jewels and rhinestones on them.
@miss-spunkin i got them on yoox and i added sparkles to them before wearing them around the house (oops) but they arent a popular brand(terza corsia).
tey weren't high, but the criscross pinched my toes and they had zero arch support. I have freak arches. seriously my footprints in the sand don't touch in the middle hence the ouch.
oh my, I am so sorry about your shoes! I would've never thought they looked painful either. Peep toes usually don't bug me though.
Well, I bought "wedding" shoes that I knew I would wear again... but now I've changed my mind and I'm not wearing them for the wedding! But I'll still wear them for other occasions...
oh yeah, definitely will be wearing mine a lot. jeans, dresses, what have you! unless they fail the comfort test that night.
I bought teal heels so that I could wear them again, and have worn them a few times since the wedding! :-)
Thanks Cbee! They are the Jimmy Choo "Nova" in champagne. I love the champagne color because they have both gold and silver in them-very versatile.
I got my wedding shoes in January and not only plan on wearing them again, but I'll be wearing them before the wedding too. They're too awesome to have just sitting around for 9 months.

I am totally wearing mine again....That was my one requirement when buying my shoes...I have these seeeeeeeexy Jimmy Choo's, heeheehee
the original plan was to buy shoes i could totally rewear, but they are champagne and i should be able to wear them again, i just originally planned on pink shoes, lol.
@cakegal - so cute. i have the same type of Choos, but the flats as FI is only a bit taller than me. I get to wear them before, but only to our waltzing classes. Yay!
My are 4" tall and I know they'll probably be horrendously uncomfortable (I am planning on switching to custom flipflops for the reception). But if I get a chance to wear them again, I will. They arrived on Monday and are GORGEOUS. I love them!

DH bought new shoes as well.
We had a date night in March and we were dressed up and we both ended up wearing our wedding shoes.
I only looked at shoes that I would see myself wearing again! That's a main reason why I went with black heels, versus white or even many other colors that I couldn't see myself wearing again. Of course it helps that our colors are black white and yellow so they fit the theme.
I didn't buy mine intending to wear them again, but I already have twice! They're dyeable white satin and I plan to keep them white until I've decided what colour to dye them (so many options!)

@snuggly, oh my gosh those are sooo cute! I'm obsessed with the etsy seller B. Poetic who sells flower shoe clips, but they're like $35 for two and I'm like, that's a little much. Would you mind telling me how you made them? I'd love to do that!
I will absolutly wear my shoes again! I love them and they are purple so they will be fun to wear with a variety of outfits. With that said, if I had fallen in love with shoes that were strictly "bridal" I would have happily bought them (if they were a reasonable price) just for the big day

They're just little circles of fabric and you singe around the edges with a candle to make them curl up. I didn't bother to attach any clips to them as I knew I wouldn't wear them often - I just tied them to my shoes with string then cut the string off afterwards.
Oh yes for sure! I don't care if they don't match anything either - they are getting on my feet again! haha
My wedding shoes are ordered and on their way, but I plan to wear them a little bit before to break them in.. maybe just around the house!
