For some reason, for the past 2 (or more?) hours, I haven't been able to load weddingbee. The servers either timeout, or I get server errors. This happend for Mr. Scissors as well! (Yes, I had him try too!) All other websites were fine. Now it works.

So, fess up. Who broke the internets? Or did anybody else have this problemo?

I had that problem too. I had been away from the computer all day and then when I finally found time to sit and fiddle around online around 8 or 9pm (Eastern), Weddingbee was broken! I was able to finally get on Weddingbee about an hour ago.

Another user reported similar issues earlier tonight... they had to reset their router and then it worked again for them.

I'm not sure what could have caused that... I'm not managing the servers any more.

If anyone has more details on what you saw tonight (or even just confirmation that you had trouble accessing the site), that'd be really helpful!  Just post the details here... thanks!

That happens to me pretty much every time I use the internets.  They'rr broken all the time at my house.

That usually happens to me every night between 10:30 and 11:30 (Pacific Time) for about a half hour. If my suspicions are correct, I think that weddingbee is updating and/or doing a backup at that time.

I knew the problem wasn't on my end because I could access other websites and forums just fine. I just hit refresh on the Weddingbee tab every now and then and I always got an error message -- couldn't connect to the server/server not found, if I remember correctly. Then around 11:30-ish I hit refresh again and it was working just fine.

It happened to me as well.  Weddingbee wouldn't load when I first tried at about 8:30, and I was only able to get on again at around 11.  I could get to other sites without problem, though, so I don't think it was a problem on my end.

I had that problem a couple of days ago, but not tonight/ today. I'm having trouble sleeping, though, so maybe I broke it?

    I'm glad it's not just me. :p

We didn't reset the routers or anything because everything else was coo'.

@KM- Your insomnia must have angered the internets! You need to pay tribute with fuzzy kittens in cotton ball mounds, or something like that.

Please keep posting any details of the issues you saw tonight!  That will help the engineering team in debugging things tomorrow...

    Thanks.

    No problemo.

It definitely was wonky (for me) at 10:51pm Eastern, because that was the point in time that I accused Buttons of breaking the internets over GChat. lol.

We got the first report of this over email, at 7:15 pm EST (4:15 pm PST)...  someone reported that the site wasn't working in both Safari and Firefox, even though all other sites were working.

Ack! Same here with one at Petsmart. I made an agreement with my mother that we wouldn't adopt any more kittens before the wedding. :( This one was named Gizmo, and looked EXACTLY like our cat Wednesday. :( :( :( I've visited him 3 times. Masochist, I am.

This one's name was Nelson and if you made kissy noises, he would give you kisses! I reaaaaally hope that if I whine enough, Mr. KM will go get him as a surprise.

Mine was down as well around 11EST last night; I tried firefox and safari, both failed. I got a time out message on both, but it tried to load for a LONG time.

About 15 minutes later I tried again and it worked fine.

Sometimes when that happens I just reset my browser and it works.

I find that's a common problem with WB. I regularly try to read a board post and the page freezes up.

I had the same problem last night.  Weddingbee was up the entire time, but when I did a pingback it just kept trying to send.  I re-set the router and was able to finally make it work.  I just thought it was something originating from my wireless internet connection, but it's interesting to hear that someone else had the same problem.

I tried both Firefox and Safari.  I believe my incindent happened around 4:30 pm Pacific.

Me too...sounds like it was around the same time everyone else said.  I was using Safari.
