Oh man I just posted on another thread that I was torn between both teams! It was such a great game! Soooo ready for the SUPERBOWL and as a IN bride I probably shouldnt say but I hope Brees takes Manning! :)
I'm gonna cheer for the Saints because I hate the colts ;)
Well I'm a Steelers fan, but since they are nowhere to be seen this year, I'm definitely rooting for the Saints!
... the Saints little question thing is "Who dat?"... the Cincy Bengals is "Who Dey?"... I'm am entirely less impressed with both teams now, lol.
Well I was for the Vikings. But now I'm gonna have to root for the Colts just because I'm upset at the Saints for beating us.
Congrats to all the Saints fans out there, but seriously, the Vikings beat themselves, not the Saints. It's pretty hard to win a football game with 5 turnovers and those late penalties (especially the ridiculous pass interference call at the end of the game). Glad to see the Saints make the Super Bowl for the first time, but as much as I dislike the Colts, I don't think the Saints will be able to pull out a win.
I'm an Indy girl, so I have to root for my COLTS!
(However, as a Purdue alum who attended when Brees was quarterback - I won't be heartbroken if he walks away with a superbowl ring!)
@Chachacha Ha COMPLETELY agreed. It was a very disappointing loss! I'm pretty sure that Shiancoe was the only one there to play!!!! Brett got beat up all night. It didn't look like team effort by the Vikings.
Congrats on the win Saints!! Nice to finally make it there! However I got money on the Colts, i just dont think the Saints will be able to pull it off. Sorry...
I am so happy for the Saints and the city of New Orleans! I cried when they won!
I'm going for the colts cuz I friggin hate the saints. I'm so sad MN didn't get in. Good game tho.
FI and I are DIE HARD Jets fans. So needless to say, we want anyone to take out the Colts right now. Go Saints!
We're from CT but we love the Saints!!!! We are so excited for them to win it all this year!!!
Chachacha -- Exactly! The Vikings truly did play a better game overall, but they made big mistakes when it mattered most.
I would have liked to see Favre go to another Super Bowl, but since my real team (Steelers) are out, I could be happy to see either of these teams win. My FI played college football with one of the players' for the Saints, so it is kind of exciting to watch that player. It would be nice to see him win; my school considers him a success story, obviously! However, there is a running joke in the family that if things fall through with FI, I'm going after Peyton and FI's little sister is going after Eli. So... all in all, it will be fun to watch!
There is a house in town that has a HUGE wooden cutout set up with "Jazz Funeral" in their yard, and it has a tombstone for all the teams the Saints' beat this year, and it has Saints flags. I haven't been down that way since they're going to the Super Bowl. I wonder what they'll do if they win?!
I was hoping the Jets would win and the Colts beat them so now I'll be routing for the Saints. I don't really follow football but do like to watch the SuperBowl. I studied advertising in college so I'm always watching for the commercials and of course the yummy food!
I'm a Bears fan, which means I hate the Colts...so go SAINTS!

I can't hate Peyton Manning for having such a great year, and he's a decent guy. But, honestly, I am SO glad that Brett Favre isn't going to the Super Bowl. I have never liked him, his time on the Jets made me dislike him more, and if I have to hear about him retiring and coming back one more time, I'm going to lose it.
Well..sorry but I LOVE the colts and Peyton Manning!!! I really don't care for the saints at all...
I gotta root for the SAINTS!!! They are the underdogs but they are still from my hometown. LOVE THEM BABY!!!
My FI was at the game - took his 88 year-old grandmother - and called me crying when they won!
I thought this was about the Steelers because of the Who Dat and black and gold comment! Go black and gold...Steelers colors too! Go Saints! Cant stand Colts!
I'm not a big football fan (really I only watch because FI has had it on all season!) but I'm routing for the Saints. Why? Cuz I love NOLA and I think their uniforms are pretty rockin (love the fleur de lys) - lol is that a totally girly thing to say?
