Brideinla - the second link didn't work for me...could you try it again?
whens the wedding? can you talk down the prices? ( for example we got '07 prices for an '09 wedding)
Olivia is nice but i didn't see any wedding pics....
travis site did not come up.
we are using http://www.eight20photography.com/
They were willing to work with our budget and are super nice. They are young but extremely professional
Sorry! here's the link to the second photographer....
http://travishoehne.blogspot.com/
hydrangea: yeah, the first photographer doesn't have wedding photos on her site, but I called her and asked her to email me some photos
I love Travis Hoehne's pictures. They are great! Ultimately you have to go with your gut instinct on which photos you prefer and which photographer you feel most comfortable with. Good luck!
TRAVISSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Jenny and Shawn (his most recent engagement session) are my good friends and MOH's sister. They are thrilled to be working with him and I'm fairly certain his rates are going to go up much higher by year end, so you might want to book him asap. His work is AMAZING and a steal for the price it is.
He's from my hometown, we went to high school together, his work is amazing, and I'm devistated he's not shooting my wedding; he is booked for my date. I shed a tear.
GL!
between the 2 - i vote for travis!
but who do you guys feel more comfortable with?? who do you feel gets your vision for how you want your day captured??
good luck!!
Being an art student grad, I do appreciate the particular and uniqueness of Olivia's photos...now that i think about it, even thought i'm on budget, these photos are forever and i think i will go with travis. he seems to have more knowledge of the "wedding" experience.
thanks for all the input! You must log in to post.

Hi ladies, I was searching for affordable photographers in the LA area. I found a photographer for $800 for a full day (8-9hrs) + a cd of all the high res images.
We're on a budget and wanted just that so that later on, we can get the album later (FI's best man is a photographer also and he'll put our album together for us!). Her name is Olivia Wright and website is below. She doesn't have weddings on her site, but if you call her, she can send you some images from other weddings she's done. http://halfasleepanddreaming.com/home.html She's on the top of our list...we're debating between her and Travis Hoehne.... http://travishoehne.blogspot.com/ What do you think? Who do you like better? Travis is charging $1850 for the same package.
