If I’m at work it’s harder because, well, it’s work lol. But I listen to music, think about things  that I’m excited about, go for a walk if I can. Or I try to just suck it up until the day is over!

If I’m at home I take a nap, watch something good on TV, bake, and play with my dogs.

I hope your day gets better soon!

Haha normally I can shake it off really easily, but I’m in the same boat as you!  I just want to punch everyone who speaks to me o_O  Otherwise, I typically take a look at all of the things I’m blessed to have (a good job, amazing husband, nice house, new car, money in the bank, good family and friends, etc.) and I choose to focus on those things.  Doesn’t always do the trick, but most of the time it helps me put things in perspective.

Today however, I just want to go home and sit in the dark.alone.  Can you tell it’s that time of the month?! I’ve been a bear this month!  Poor DH!

I go for a run- nothing like some endorphins!

Or, if my neighbor’s dog is out, I go pet him. Since we can’t have a dog in our apartment, I get my doggie fix from him.

At work… well, I’m guilty of online retail therapy sometimes 🙂

Maybe treat yourself a little? Hope your day gets better!

@luvmesumhim:  If I’m stuck at work I will go to Grumpy Cat’s website and her pics always make me smile 🙂

Oh my god, I’m in the same mood. I’m also feeling really sluggish today for some reason. The weather, maybe? Or the fact that fcking tornado sirens went off last night an hour into my delightful sleeping time despite the fact that there was NO TORNADO (there was a storm that “could possibly produce” a tornado…30 minutes to the east and heading nowhere near us). Then FI forgot to shut off his alarm from Tuesday, so that went off at 5:30. Customers are being douchey and my head hurts and I’m hungry. 🙁 I have a ton of work to do and I just don’t want to do it at all.

I’m an introvert, so I notice I’m only grumpy when I don’t get enough “me” time. As a teacher, it’s extremely hard to plan any “me” time because I’m surrounded by children or other people constantly. My husband understands, and I can tell him I need some alone time, and he’ll find something else to do outside the house for a while 🙂

Once I get 60 minutes to myself, I’m good as new.

@luvmesumhim:  At work, it’s hard. If work was supposed to be fun, they wouldn’t call it work. I like to go talk a walk and just try and give myself a little perspective. With me, bad moods just tend to fade naturally – I can’t make them go away.

At home, sometimes I will take a nap or read a book so I “forget” that life sucks 😛

The biggest thing I do when I am in a bad mood is to let people know. Personally I just tell DH “I have a grumpy”. This helps because he will either stear clear or try to help the situation.

Then I will just take a shower, vent to my mom or work out. Or watch something fun on tv.
