@Equine_Breeder:  When we were TTC I had one that I got a BFP, but then the funniest one I had was that I gave birth to a baby and it was a piece of french bread, toasted with butter and garlic. I wrapped it in a blanket and brought it to my shoulder and it left a grease mark on my clothes, and then I thought, that must be why the birth was so easy that I don’t even remember it, this baby is so greasy it just slid right out! I knew it was bread but it was also my baby and I loved it hahahaha so weird. I WAS hungry when I woke up….

Anyways, I’m almost 12 weeks pregnant now and have not had ANY pregnancy/baby dreams at all! Good luck to you in six days, hope it’s a BFP!

Ha. I had vivid BFP dreams in both the cycle before I got my BFP and the cycle that I was pregnant. It could be a sign…but it also might not be haha.

I’ve had those FOREVER, but I’m not TTC for another three years! I read that it can usually mean the start of something creative or beginning something, but my friend had them before her BFP. So who knows! 🙂

Although I am not TTC yet, I did have a pregnancy dream very recently that has left me mildly freaked out. I very rarely dream or have dreams that I remember when I wake up. This one was so vivid and realistic that it took me a little bit after I woke up to realize that I WASN’T pregnant. I went into the bathroom and panicked for a moment when I saw my stomach was flat.

I can’t say whether it’s true or not. I have had a minor symptom the last week or so and my cat has been SO clingy lately, which makes me wonder. Although it’s more likely that this is all just in my head lol!

@Equine_Breeder:  I often dream of being in labor. It’s the strangest sensation. I’m writhing in pain and it goes on and on. Eventually when I think to myself that it’s too hard, POP comes out a baby. I never see the baby but the dr/nurses tell me the baby is beautiful and they’re just cleaning the baby up. I never know if it’s a girl or boy and that’s probably because my husband and I don’t want to know the gender until birth. I cry at the instant I hear the baby’s cry. I’ve woken up with my pillow all wet.

I never wake up sad. Because I know that if I were that happy in my dream, I just know I’ll be that much happier when it actually happens.

I’m a long way from TTC, but for the last couple years, I’ve had recurring dreams that I’m pregnant. Nothing happens in the dreams, but I experience the physical sensation of being pregnant (or what I imagine it to feel like), with a large, firm belly. When I drift awake and realize I’m not actually pregnant, my first reaction is to feel a small sense of loss. I’ve always found the dream odd, because while we wish to have children in the future, I do not have a strong longing for a baby at the moment.

One of my professors is into dream analysis and she suggested the dream could reflect a more general desire to nurture a sense of family. At that time in my life, I was hoping to get engaged to my now-DH, so it fit for me in some way.

Your dreams seem much more dramatic though, haha! I laughed at the part about regretting that you named your baby Edith. Oh, also that you gave birth in Target haha!

I hope you get the news you are hoping for!!

I’m still a few months away from TTC but I have major baby fever so that’s probably why I’m having pregnancy/baby dreams.

In the ones I’ve had lately, I’m usually giving birth in unusual places and once the baby or babies (I once dreamed I was having triplets) are born I realise that I’ve bought absolutely nothing for them. So my dreams usually involve me panicking and calling DH so we can buy a stroller/crib/car etc. In one of my dreams, I put my newborn triplets in boxes because I didn’t know what to do with them. Another dream I had I was faking being pregnant because I was jealous of a co-worker being pregnant.

I always have very vivid and extremely random dreams!

I am not even TTC, and I have them occasionally. They are usually pretty weird. Most of the time in my dream, I know I’m pregnant and I’ll have the belly, but I can suck it back in when needed, no matter how big it is. My favorite so far is one where I gave birth to triplets. I was laying, legs splayed, giving birth and and a huge eagle was circling me, about to attack. The babies came out with swords and fought the eagle. It was insane…

Your dreams had me in fits of laughter! My co-worker probably thinks I’m nuts!

@MrsAKSkier:  Oh my god. I was laughing so hard reading your greasy french bread baby dream. So funny!

@Equine_Breeder:  I have pregnancy dreams quite a bit and we’re not even TTC yet. Everything from having the big belly to getting a BFP (lots of BFP dreams). Now that we’re getting closer to the wedding (and eventually TTC), they get more and more real feeling.
