I do! Ugh. I wish I had requested the day off. But I do have almost all of next week off. I just work tuesday and then don't have to be here again til the 4th!! Hallelujah! lol.
Me!! But I fully intend on slacking...hehe! I am SUPER jealous of my FI who is at home snuggled under the covers in bed. <sigh>
I am here at work. I am hoping my boss lets us leave after a half day. My best friends birthday was yesterday, I had a few cocktails at the comedy show with her to celebrate and I am not feeling so great! lol
@Legallyblondiebride: Yeah I don't think anyone expects me to do actual work lol.
@MissBoPeep: Nice! I got a card from my boss that says "I appreciate your sense of humor, sincerely, boss's name".
I just finished an overnight shift and I'm back at work at my other job for 3-11. Then I get the weekend off and then working 3-10 and 11-7am Boxing Day. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay my life! #headdesk
@MissBoPeep: SO extremily jealous of your bonus!! That's awesome that you got one!!
I'm working today, off at 2pm, then allll next week when everyone else is off. Our students are on break, so it will be very quiet around here.

@Legallyblondiebride: I really didn't think we were going to get bonuses this year, so I was pleasantly surprised!
I'm at work unfortunately. We're shutting down the office at noon but I have a million things to finish up first. And yet I still took time to post on here...procrastination strikes again lol!
I have to work today too. ... but this week has been cool and laid back. They had my going away breakfast (YES 2 more work days and i'm out of here) on wednesday, then we had leftovers for breakfast yesterday. Then we had pot-luck for lunch. I stopped off last night and got bacon and sausage and we fired up the griddle again this morning (M.I.A. supervisors that were supposed to be here) and we have the left overs of the pot luck for lunch.
and i'm on the bee sooooo not much work to be done just clock watching.
@MissBoPeep: Congrats on the bonus! I am hoping that since I had to come to work today I will get a bonus or something as well. Fingers crossed!
Many people in my office took off today, but since I used SOOO much of my vacation time for the Wedding and Honeymoon (not to mention a trip to the Congo with my parents to visit missionary relatives... and a trip to Orlando last January...) I figured I should come in today. Usually they let us go early, around lunchtime when it's Christmas Eve, but tomorrow being C.E. I don't have high hopes for this year.
But hey, 3-day weekend since we get our Christmas Holiday off on Monday. And like a few other people have said, no one really expects anything much will get done.
I am one of like 4 people in the office today...and of those everyone is leaving after lunch...I'll be here until 3! Boo!
Here's to hoping they let me leave at noon! fingers crossed.

I have to do my own work plus other people's (since half the office took off). Boo. I've been here since 7(EST) and if I can accomplish everything by 1:30 I can go!
I work in radio, of course something that never turns off sooo always something to do.
...i better get back to it...
Evidently, according to you, I suck at life. I have the day off. 
I also have the next two weeks off. Being an educator doesn't pay much, but the vacation time is awesome!
I'm at work. Also working Sunday Night.
My FI has TEN days off! With all the public holidays that we have coming up, he only had to apply for one day off to get 10 straight off.
ughh I'm here. Probably not leaving until 5:30... there's absolutely nothing for me to do either.
I guess I suck at life haha. My office is open until 1 but I took the whole day off to get stuff done...and so far I am just on here.
its pretty relaxed in our office.. only 5 people here out of 30 in my department so its not been so bad. I just need to finish up a few things and then I am out of here and no work for a week! holiday with the FIL and then going to spain to relax:)
working as well...but clearly not hard. i'm cleaning my office out, listening to christmas music, and having a potluck with my co-workers at lunch. I think we'll be sent home around 2 *fingers crossed*

I am working today and a full day too which totally sucks! At least it's totally dead in here today and I'll be able to be online on here and FB and doing wedding research... yeah to boring days.
My boss is awesome and gave me the choice of today or next friday for a free vacation day and I chose next friday since i'm throwing a nye party. So I'm in today, but we get out at 1 :)
I'm at work too, but only from 8-12! Then off until Tuesday!
I'm at work and will be working next week too. I took a lot of time off for a trip to Japan, so I'm paying for it now. We went out with some friends last night--they are all off next week and are planning to go into DC to see the museums while I'm stuck at work. UGH!
But at least you aren't like the other people in my office today. They are here to take a certification exam.
yep im here. I was not supposed to be. But I am because its our busy season right now and I just could not stand to leave stuff sitting. I want next weeks short week to be an easy one and if i didnt come in for at least part of today that would so not be happening. So here i am....boooo!!!
