I also have watched Food Inc. I am a vegetarian for health and fitness reasons, and also exclude dairy products. ! loved Food Inc because I felt it was really un-biased unlike a lot of the other documentaries I have seen that support a plant-based diet. It laid out the facts as they were, and pretty much let the watcher decide for themselves.
Glad you enjoyed it! I have reccomended it to several people. If you are still interested, check out The China Study. It is also a good one! I am not sure if it is on Netflix, but it can be watched in sections on YouTube.
Yes, I have seen it and it made a big influence on the way I see food. Everyone should see it. I am not an animal activist or anything but as as a Christian I believe that contributing to the way those large operation animals are treated by buying it makes you just as responsible as the people abusing those animals. I believe when you know better you are responsible to do better.
I also want to add that I felt like it really opened my eyes to what was being put into my food. I hardly buy anything nowadays if there are over 5 ingredients on the back that I don't know what they are.

Food, Inc? I really recommend it. I know that I am not going to become a vegetarian (I dabble in it occasionally to maintain my health) but I did find a lot of interesting arguments for changing my diet. Also, I can't help but wonder at how many posts there are about weight watchers and other diet tools, and how much attention they get, but at how little there is out there about where our food comes from and the actual root of the problem that made WW necessary in the first place!
Anyone else seen the movie? What was your reaction?
