I am so in love with Great Britain!
I could go on forever!
I went to England in high school on a trip to Europe, and I told FI that it's a must on our list of places to visit on our honeymoon. :D
hey, its really nice to read ure post, born, breed and living in london and i love it too x
Yes, pretty much everything you listed!
Top Gear? I love those guys!
My FI is half English (his mom moved here in her 20's) so I think he counts
Fish'n'Chips and a beer
@Aure: I remember being in a British restaurant and everytime one of us American kids ordered F&C the servers cheered. XD
Also, cool-looking money.
I know I mentioned The Young Ones already but:

I am! My DH is a Brit! Now I love Licorice All-sorts, Jelly Babies, and take my tea with milk :-)
Have any of you see the show Little Britain? OMG...you will die laughing!
Me, me, me! My cats are named London (obvious) and Chelsea (for the soccer team), and we're going to London for the Olympics on our honeymoon! :D
@Badass Bride: My friends and I created a "Fish'n'Chips and a beer" chant because we were so excited about them!
Hmm, what else...
The IT Crowd
Fawlty Towers
Waiting for God
Lotus Cars
Cadbury Flakes
@Aure: ZOMG yes! Fawlty Towers, of course!
And Little Britain is on our Netflix queue.
I'm such a dork, I see anything English/British and it's instant SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...
@VickyAurea: I`ll second that!!
I`ll let you guys come live with me for a while if we can have some of your nice weather!!!
@kimbo89: *chuckle* well put hen!
Up the Spurs! I had to add my team since there's a Chelsea supporter on here, LOL!
@GingerMac:Go potters ;) (while were biggin up football teams lol)
@fiver: Classic!
@kimbo89: Aye we just had a draw with Newcastle, 2-2 :-p~
@Badass Bride: Oh my God, I can't believe you love the Young Ones! I grew up watching it and Rik Mayall was always one of my idols.
Do you watch Bottom, too? If not, you should! And the Comic Strip Presents... Ooh, and The Inbetweeners
I was always partial to "You're Being Served", "Keeping Up Apperances", "Red Dwarf", "Last of the Summer Wine" *grin*
I love Harry Potter and afternoon tea!! Afternoon tea might just be my favorite past time EVER.
@GingerMac: Dr Who!!lol ah but the question is,who is the best Doctor?? its a bit like the who is the best James bond?
@GingerMac: I really don't like Dr. Who for some reason.
@kimbo89: Obviously Sean Connery is the best James Bond, duh! ;)
I love plain Hobnobs and the Twinings Nettle Mint tea, Borough Market, and all of the Masterpiece Classics. My uncle is a pastry chef in London, and I did an apprenticeship with him... it was so much fun!
David Tennant. Matt Smith is awesome, but David Tennant was my first Doctor (Eccleston didn't stay long enough to count).
Also, did I just miss it, or has nobody mentioned Hitchhiker's Guide yet?
Love the accents, and the whole London punk thing. Sometimes I take my anglophilia too far.... like, I start talking in a British accent and can't stop!
Yep. I often wish I were British.
London is by far my favorite city, I've been there once and am always telling FI I need to go back SOON. I love British humor, one of my history professors is British and he is hilarious. Half the class doesn't understand it though. And I love Top Gear.
Add in the accent, Harry Potter, the scenery, the history, the accent, the currency, fish and chips, soccer/football, and the accent, and once again i'm wishing I were British.
@Lemma:ecclestone was my first doctor and I thought he was the best!but then the whole thing changed pruducers and whatnot and i thought it started to be aimed more at kids so i lost interest
@Aure:hmm, pierce brosnan was my era so Im gonna have to go with him, daniel craig hasnt quite got me sold yet!
@galloway111:I`ll swap with you,lol its not quite London but still british!!
Also the hitch hiker guide/harry potter thing reminded me-Alan Rickman!I could let that man read me a bed time story every night and never get bored!
Ahhh Top Gear, I love that show! *giggle* I love Yorkshire Tea, and teacle tart, I used to enjoy black pudding, but learned that I'm not supposed to eat that, bummer. There's more things Scottish I could name than British lol. I actually dont have a favorite Doctor, I have enjoyed the show since I was a toddler and never picked a favorite.
@kimbo89: Pierce Brosnan is definitely a close second for me (also my generation) but Sean Connery is just plain awesome!
Sean Connery hands down...his pants, I mean, err...LOL! *blushing*
I'm an Anglophile who also happens to be an English citizen : ). I'm slowly turning my fiance into one.
I'm an Absolutely Fabulous junkie (so excited for the new series!), I love French & Saunders, the Vicar of Dibley, Doctor Who...I could go on and on and on and on...lol.
Oooh, I thought of more wonderful Brit things that nobody has listed!
Stephen Fry - love everything he does
Qi - see above
Father Ted - so funny
Agatha Christie - just classic
