I am so in love with Great Britain!

    • The accents (drool)
    • The Beatles
    • Led Zeppelin
    • Alan Rickman (hellz yeah)
    • The Young Ones (Rik Mayall is god!)
    • the history
    • the punk movement
    • The Sex Pistols
    • Helen Mirren
    • Dame Judy Dench
    • Monty Python
    • Shaun of the Dead
    • Absolutely Fabulous
    • David Bowie
    • Harry Potter
    • Ricky Gervais

    I could go on forever!

I went to England in high school on a trip to Europe, and I told FI that it's a must on our list of places to visit on our honeymoon. :D

@Aure: I remember being in a British restaurant and everytime one of us American kids ordered F&C the servers cheered. XD

    Also, cool-looking money.

I know I mentioned The Young Ones already but:

@Badass Bride: My friends and I created a "Fish'n'Chips and a beer" chant because we were so excited about them!

    Hmm, what else...

    The IT Crowd

    Fawlty Towers

    Waiting for God

    Lotus Cars

    Cadbury Flakes

    This ridiculous commercial...

I love plain Hobnobs and the Twinings Nettle Mint tea, Borough Market, and all of the Masterpiece Classics.  My uncle is a pastry chef in London, and I did an apprenticeship with him... it was so much fun!

    @kimbo89:

David Tennant. Matt Smith is awesome, but David Tennant was my first Doctor (Eccleston didn't stay long enough to count).

Love the accents, and the whole London punk thing. Sometimes I take my anglophilia too far.... like, I start talking in a British accent and can't stop!

Yep. I often wish I were British.

London is by far my favorite city, I've been there once and am always telling FI I need to go back SOON. I love British humor, one of my history professors is British and he is hilarious. Half the class doesn't understand it though. And I love Top Gear.

Add in the accent, Harry Potter, the scenery, the history, the accent, the currency, fish and chips, soccer/football, and the accent, and once again i'm wishing I were British.

Ahhh Top Gear, I love that show! *giggle* I love Yorkshire Tea, and teacle tart, I used to enjoy black pudding, but learned that I'm not supposed to eat that, bummer. There's more things Scottish I could name than British lol. I actually dont have a favorite Doctor, I have enjoyed the show since I was a toddler and never picked a favorite.
