When I first started planning this wedding I thought there was no way I’d have a theme, this is not a playground and themes are tacky, lol!! but now I’ve been educated and seen that themes can be very whimsical, elegant and fun and have since have gone crazy for an UP inspired balloon theme (thanks to a few bees and pics) so I was just wondering what other themes bees have

@leecy87: You know, we didn’t really have a theme, but I LOVE themed weddings and I especially love that you are loving the Up Balloon theme! 😀

I hate the word theme, but we are drawing lots of inspiration from things and one of them is UP!
Walking down the isle to the song “married Life” thats played during the up monatge in the beginning of the movie, I tear up just listening to it
Other inspiration includes…
I love your baloons by the way they are wonderfull!

I like themes. Your theme is very sweet. We’re still thinking about our theme. We’ve considered “winter” but it’s very broad and due to financial reasons we might not be able to actually get our wedding in winter.

My ceremony theme is “Sunset” (mostly just done in the color scheme) and then the reception theme is “Starry Night”, the Van Gogh painting! The centerpieces, colors, sparkle, and hints of stars are where we are pulling in the theme. Oh, we are also having a moon photobooth!
