Ugh I hear you…. my clothes are all a little more snug than they were at Thanksgiving.

Fortunately I consumed the last of the holiday treats this past weekend and now there is nothing left but fruits, veggies and lean protein for the most part. I also have used up all the flour and sugar, so it would be very difficult for me to whip something up on the spur of the moment.

I figure if I can just be strong at the grocery store from here on out, the rest will take care of itself eventually.

It’s really hard to overeat with apples and celery! Haha!

yesss me. cutting out all processed and junk food and trying to stick to meat, fruits, veggies, and some dairy. it’s worked for me before, let’s hope it works for me again. however, the left over holiday chocolate in our pantry is calling me right now.

Yes!!! I need to jump back on the wagon. I was doing SO well and I felt so amazing.

Now I just feel like a burst can of biscuits.

I got the “lay off the cheesecake, fatty.” speech from my OB this past Saturday. (My words, not his!)

So I could definitely agree with needing to waddle back to the “eating like a real human” bandwagon!

@MissPine:  lol and +1 to the burst can of biscuits.

I got to the point where my teeth were actually starting to hurt from all the sweets. I’m never one to turn down a glass of wine, but I got to the point where my body was just getting sick of all the booze from drinking several glasses of wine with dinner every night between christmas eve and new years.

Last night i had steamed fish and veggies for dinner… my FI ate wendys next to me… asshole

Me!  I lost about 20 pounds…..and then my mom got sick and I used it as a total excuse to not watch anything. Then she died, then the holidays came.  I’ve gained it all back :(. She would be so unhappy with me. My blood pressure is back through the roof and I’m pre-diabetic so I don’t have an option. I’m back on the bandwagon as of now.  I don’t drink  And Last week  i stopped eating out and eating anything pre packaged. Now I need to cut out the sweets, I kept saying “when the chocolate chip cookies are gone”. We’ll, I’m throwing the last 6 in the trash right now…..  I need to keep checking these threads when I want to cheat. Sugar is my weakness and it’s SOOO hard to break that addiction.

@KatB442:  So sorry about your mom.  If you’d like you can send me a PM with your email  (it has tips, so it’s 4 dbl pgs./8 single pages) and I will send you a copy of the diet my dr. gave me.  If I stay on it, I don’t crave the sweets.  So I’ve been back on it for 2 days now, no problem. And I’m not hungry.
