You will be fine! You need to be well, so make that a priority! This is the time to call in every favor that is owed to you by your family and friends. Otherwise, time to take out a favor-loan!
Sit back, take a few deep breaths, close your eyes and know that everything will fall into place envision it. you can do it.
Make a list of the things you're feeling behind on and delegate!
In the end, what matters is that you and FI are happy, healthy and married! :)
Good luck & good health!
First and foremost take care of yourself and try to enjoy this whirlwind time. Things will get done enough for you to get married. I'm glad you are starting to feel better now.
Good luck this weekend and congratulations!
Wow, you are actually living through one of my greatest fears. Believe it or not, I actually have nightmares that this will happen to me.
I got sick too, but by wedding day I was pretty much fine! Just think positive!!
My cousin got sick as well following her wedding because of all the stress involved in planning. I think for her, the one thing she regretted was not getting a wedding planner and relying on church friends to help. If you have a big family, can you delegate tasks? That way you can maybe avoid getting sicker.
Aw feel better! Try to get a bunch of sleep (even though I know you'll be busy these next few days!) sleep is supposedy the best medicine no one takes enough of...
Also, a totally selfish request but pretty pretty please post pictures of your wedding! And have a fantastic time :)
Thanks for the good wishes!! Definitely feeling better as the time goes on. You gals are awesome in encouraging!!
Yes, my FI is taking care of the running around and everything. The things that are not done are my DIY name cards and my centerpiece vessels. I have some people coming over tonight for henna and hopefully while they are waiting they will help out! :)
I will post pictures .. but it will be after 2 weeks .. as we are headed to Norway on 2 days after our wedding. :D
Delegate and breathe! If it's not done, the world will not end. If something isnt centered correctly or done in calligraphy, no one will remember. your friends want your day to be special and for it to be your dream come true, don't forget that! Put a smile on your face and enjoy your weekend!
oooh, i agree with the pp, definitely get some rest and try to delegate the work. you gotta relax and let your body take care of itself. hopefully you'll be fine by your wedding day!
on another note, a friend of mine was diagnosed with mono the week before her wedding! yikes!
Good Luck and make sure you get some rest, though I know it's hard. Also, get a steroid shot on Friday afternoon...it will work wonders if you're not feeling better. :)
You are FINE!!!! The extra kick of medicene will give you the energy of the energizer bunny!!!!! Tomorrow you will wake up feeling better, looking better and bouncing off the walls! When you go to bed tell yourself all that mumbo jumbo ten times! :) Sorry I got way out of control. HA AHAHAHA
I hope you're back to feeling 100% by the wedding day. You'll make it to that point, convince yourself of that when you start feeling discouraged.
Maybe you could also reevaluate your to-do list and associate a number beside each of the items. "1's" Are absolutely must do's, "2's" Are would really like to have, and "3's" are will do's only if time allows. This way, your must do's can be completed first and possibly lighten your load by picking out a few items that you would like but might not have time for.
Good luck and I hope you have gorgeous weather for your big day. Also, don't be afraid to recruit willing friends and family for extra helping hands!!
I'm glad that you're feeling a little better; hopefully you'll be recovered by your wedding day! Do you have a few trusted friends/relatives that can help you with those last-minute tasks? Remember to drink plently of fluids, have Vitamin C, and get lots of rest! Good luck!

I do.
My wedding is this Friday. I was sick starting last Friday. All weekend (when I should have been doing mucho work) I was sick with fevers, a throat that was the size of a bowling ball, and weakness. It all continued Monday. Finally, I decided to go to the doctor ( I don't like them much ). Tuesday, the doctor lady said I have strep and an ear infection! I told her I was going to be married on Friday so she doubled the dose of antibiotics to help me heal faster. It seems to be working. I've been up and about all day pretty much. Except, now I'm 3 days behind on everything!!!
I need to repeat to myself that I'm not going to stress and things will work out just fine. But the question is, can I really convince myself of that? hmm .. since I'm writing this post .. I don't think I'm really convinced. :-/
