I've been looking around a really great website with info on ring terminology, styles, etc. I know the basic cuts and the 4 c's and all, but I'm ready to learn it all (to teach the boyfriend, of course, haha).

For example, I found this ring (below) that I really like, but I don't know what the band style is called. I've seen it described as "micro pave," but I'm not sure if that's just what a particular designer called it.

So ladies, post you links! Thanks!!

bluenile.com has some education pages, but I'll second pricescope.com as the mecca of diamond info! you can spend HOURS on the forums there!

I actually think that band is called a "shared prong setting" not micro pave but I could be wrong.  Tiffany's has some good info on their website and Bluenile was helpful as well...Good luck and have fun browsing :)

pricescope.com for sure... the boards there are also great if you want to ask questions and get specific advice on diamond selection.

I have to agree and say that pricescope.com is the best.
