I enjoy reading all of the posts from all of the bee bloggers. Of course there is always that one that as soon as we see a post we click on it. Or the past bee that you have gone through her entire blog roll and found great ideas you want to use for your wedding. I happened across a couple of great ideas that way.
So, which blogger has given you the most inspiration?
For me, its been Miss Fondue, Mrs. Spring Roll & Miss Labrador. They have made ideas pop in to my head that I had not thought of before and am so super excited about doing now. I like their diy prsonalities. Another fav is Mrs. Cheese because her posts are so heartfelt.
Mrs. Cupcake is my favorite bee, hands-down. I wish I had a tenth of her attention to detail, her wedding was filled with so many inspiring details. I loved the font she used for a lot of her paper products so much I used it on my wedding invitations too!
Other favorites: Mrs. Candy Corn for her indie, off-beat style, Mrs. Tulip because she had a budet wedding in DC that was very inspirational to me in the early stages of my planning (I read her non-WB blog all the time) Mrs. Cheese, and I still miss Mrs. Gingerbread and Mrs. Sweet Tea!
Miss Fondue for her beautiful embossed invitations.
Mrs. Cupcake for all the details she made hers.
Mrs. Cherry Pie for her mason jars, tin cans, garter flask, reception ideas.
Ms. Poodle is becoming on of my new favorite sources of inspiration.
& I love me some Mrs. Candy Corn cause she rocks... I love her updates, her attitude & her quirky style.
Right now it's Ms. Poodle..I love that she is doing so much DIY and tha she has gone as far to make her own wedding dress. Not to mention how she is trying to do this as green as possible. Cheers to Ms. Poodle!!
Mrs. Sea Breeze's orginial blog inspired me and was how I found about Weddingbee
Miss Bear Cub. My wedding is nothing like hers, but the DIY and hippie touches make me happy. :) I would say Miss Poodle, too, but she's much more fearless than I am when it comes to crafts, so I just look at her clay flowers and drool. ;)
Back when I first started reading Weddingbee, I always loved Mrs. Cherry Pie's posts because she was recapping her rustic affair and I was planning mine. Such great ideas!
Mrs. Cheese-relationships, Mrs. Cherry Pie-rustic wedding, Mrs. Seabreeze-style, and Mrs Bunny-because she's from Ohio like me!
Can I say all of them? I love going through married bees profiles and seeing what they did, I've been so inspired by all of them.
For specific projects, I've been really inspired by Miss Duckling's and Mrs. Toucan's Save the Dates, Miss Kitten, Mrs. Tiramisu and Mrs. Champagne's Table Numbers, Mrs. Penguin's gocco projects (I love the stationery she made for a friend), Mrs. Lemon's rose logo projects throughout the whole wedding, Mrs. Corn's and Gloss' Invites, Mrs. Eggplant's seating board, Mrs. LoveBug's cake, Mrs. Coconut's sister portraits, Miss Piglet's Bridesmaids shower details, Miss Bubblegum's favors....there are more, but the list could go on and on so I'll stop...can you tell I'm a bit obsessed?
Mrs. Sea Breeze made me a Weddingbee addict, but my personal inspiration has come from Mrs. Champagne (can't wait for more recaps!) I do look forward to Mrs. Cheese's posts - I feel like I "know" her and Miss Bru the best. Oh and Miss Lab is my new workout inspiration! I've been doing her weightlifting routine since the day she posted it two weeks ago! :)
I love Miss. Mary Jane! I secretly kind of wanted a courthouse wedding, but I knew it would devestate my mom (first wedding in our family in 20 plus years!). And I love hearing about how she makes her small wedding just as special as a big one.
But I think I've gotten ideas from most of the Bee Bloggers. These girls rock.
Oh and Miss Cowboy Boot and Miss Sprinkle!
Truly, I've gotten ideas from all the bee's.
I love me some Mrs. Cheese, Mrs. Lovebug, Mrs. Taffy, and Miss Poodle! But of course, everyone inspires me!
I forgot Miss Star! I love all her Broadway details!
I'm also inspired by how often Miss Frenchie and Bruschetta post. I love how involved they are.
So many inspirations, I'm probably forgetting half of the Bees who have inspired my wedding details so far!
Hands down Mrs. Sea Breeze. I still read her personal blog. That's how we decided to use the grey suits and purple accents. I showed pictures of her wedding to my FI. He thought that the guys looked awesome. I love her dress and her quirky style. I love the 'tude that came with her posts. They make me laugh.
Mrs Cherry Pie is also one of my favs. Soooo pretty and her wedding looked like so much fun. The fact that she's from Seattle doesn't hurt at all either.
Mrs. Cheese makes me cry. I love her posts. Mrs. MJ makes me laugh. I love when she interjects hilarious swear words into her posts. It makes her seem that much more real.
<span style="font-family: tahoma; font-size: 13px;">Mrs. Cherry Pie gets my vote. Every single detail of her day was gorgeous, but seemed to do it all so naturally and with ease!
Oh yea, I love me some Mrs. Cheese too - she is so genuine. Mrs. Sea Breeze gets a vote from me too. I loved every detail.
For me it´s Mrs. Lovebug, Mrs. Cupcake and for the new bees: Mrs. Star and Mrs. Lighting...
They are all so cute and stylish!
Ms. Poodle for her crafting courage (& courage to leave home & country to follow her heart)
Ms. Swan because she tells it like it is & like me, is a later in life bride
Ms. Sprinkle because I can connect to her NorCal transplant to SoCal & I love how she is making her wedding her own (vegan, green, AND DiY just ain't easy to pull off, but that doesn't scare her!)
Mrs Lovebug inspired me to become a better writter... I still have a ton of typos and run on sentences, but I'm trying more to find my voice :)
Its amazing how many different Bees I have got ideas from!! First, Mrs. Gummi Bear had the wedding of my DREAMS, it was amazingly awesome & very simialar to my taste! I've really enjoyed Mrs. Green Tea & Mrs. Lemonade's blogs and of course the Austin brides: Miss Mouse & Miss Beagle!
And I am EVER-SO-THANKFUL to Mrs. Cream Puff who gave me the idea for memory boxes, I'm obsessed with these & they are one of my FAVORITE unquie parts of my wedding!!
Mrs. Lovebug was also my favorite - her writing just sucked me in. As a Mrs. now, I loved reading Mrs. Cheese's posts on marriage...they are so relatable as a married woman, she is so insightful. I also loved Mrs. Penguin, Mrs. Pomegranite, Mrs. Cupcake and Mrs. Tiramisu for their details. But, I must say, I love all the bees ;)
I love ALL the Bees!! Mrs.Ballet Flat is probably my favorite "all around" bee, she just seems SO darn nice! I also love Mrs.Cheese and Miss Mary Janes "emotional" posts. I adore *everything* about Mrs.Peony's wedding and I really miss having Mrs. Gingerbread around.
I hate leaving any of the Bees out - seriously ALL of you ladies rock my world!
I have to say I wish I found Wedding bee a lot of time ago, I need to read some of the older bees!
Mrs. Perfume is probably the Bee who I have gathered the most inspiration from (just see my invitations post today for proof!). I love all the Bees, and I especially love what a diverse group of individuals the Bees are. So many different styles and personalities. :)
This is way old school, but Mrs. Ladybug's wet-your-pants writing got me hooked on WB. Mrs. Candy Corn is my favorite laugh-out-loud bee now. I flat out stole Mrs. Flamingo's bouquet jewels (printed out the post and took it with me to the craft store, yup), and I showed Mrs. Lemon's centerpieces to my husband as inspiration, even though we ended up doing something different. Mrs. Ant's dress was straight out of my dreams, but Mrs. Blueberry's budget was my reality check! Cheese (a perennial favorite) really resonates with me emotionally, and for some reason I can't really identify, Tomato did too.
I'm sad to say that reading over the Mrs. List, there are several bees I can't really remember very well anymore, but I know I read them all and they ALL have had such a huge impact on my ideas of what makes a beautiful, meaningful wedding.
Oh, and Avocado, Shortcake, and Poodle were amazing too, but in a slightly intimidating, oh-my-land-she-is-dedicated kind of way.
OMG how could I forget Mrs. Blueberry, Mrs. Avocado, and Mrs. Shortcake!
I love all of the Texas bees! I admire Miss Poodle and her DIY projects, I wish I had just a bit of her talent. I have been inspired by some of Mrs. Taffy's posts and we are actually following her idea on favors. Also love, Miss MJ cause I also wanted a court house marriage and the mister would have none of it and I also loved Mrs. Lovebug. All in all though, I love every single bee! Bloggers and non-bloggers...all of you ladies offer such wonderful advice and great inspiration.
How to decide? They all inspire me in different ways!
Sea Breeze has amazing style. Candy Corn makes me giggle. Lovebug makes me a better writer. Cheese makes me more honest. Snapdragon's attitude is incredible. Labrador's fitness posts kick ass. D'orsay is just a badass. Shortcake rocks. Cupcake is detail delicious....
I could go on and on and on! Thanks, girls, for all the inspiration!
I wish I found Weddingbee a long time ago too! I really wanted to know what Mrs. bloggers I should go back and read that missed long ago! Haha So, now I am going to try to make time this weekend to check out Mrs. Cupcake, Mrs. Lovebug & Mrs. Sea Breeze. I'm sure eventually I'll just go through the alphabet. I swear my "favorites" is a mile long with everything I've bookmarked!
I agree all of the bees are wonderful and have touched some element of my wedding planning, whether it is just in thought or something I am following through.
I really miss Mrs. Lovebug, I wish I could find her regular blog, she is such a great writer and so funny!
I was totally inspired by Mrs. Lemon's centerpieces. And Mrs. Avocado. I love her. Her wedding, her voice, her dedication. I love her. I stole from a lot of bees. I love flamingo's Art Deco style. Mrs. Perfume and Mrs. Cupcake's attention to detail. Honestly, there hasn't been a single bee that I haven't borrowed something from. They are all wonderful.
@daniela.borrego she recently removed her personal blog and no longer publicly blogs at all :( Its too bad.
How fun. I heart Mrs. Onion's whole wedding and Gummibear's dress. Love Mrs. Haute-Cocoa's Chewish wedding. Mrs. Sushi's wedding location- to die for. Powder Puff and Snappy got me thinking I could blog too- and I love their spunk. And I love Taffy's details. Pinot Noir for paving the way for eco-brides. Meaty and Ballet Flat for the weight loss trials and tribulations. And Shortcake for reminding me of my girly side, and who could not love Lovebug. Oh, and I really like Kiwi. And I really liked Gingerbread and Sweet Tea.
And I think I might have to read Weddingbee forever since I am so interested in all the new bee's weddings!!
@daniela.borrego & @meatball - She told me she would consider opening her blog publically again in the future, just not right now... I emailed her b/c I was so upset I couldn't read it anymore.
How did I forget about Shortcake and Flamingo and their style... they were my inspiration for the wedding I was going to have before the birdies :) I love Cheese's honest, Bru's indepth posts and writting style.Gummi, Ladybug, Perfume, Pengy and CC - CRACK me up :)
@frenchbulldog - Please let us know when she does!!
We should sign a petition! HAha
Miss Labrador for her fitness inspiration (uh, we need more of those, btw!) and since we share a date, I can relate to her timeline. Also, we both live in Georgia.
Mrs. Cheese because she's fantabulous and because we're both from Knoxville.
Mrs. Candy Corn because she's just cool like that.
Miss Star because she's so dang adorable and I love the broadway theme!
Miss Lightening has a cool perspective - I like that she isn't afraid to boot traditional wedding convention.
Miss Mouse is waaaay inspiring, because if she can plan this wedding while studying for the bar exam, then dang it, I can plan it while in college and working full time! (But she does it with way more coolness than I ever could. I think it's possibly a Texas thing).
@Laylabelle: I´m with you on the Mouse inspiration!
