@SupermansSweetheart:  So have you started it yet? I went and got the P90X3 after I saw your post on here. This weekend I did the Total Synergistics and the Agility X. The synergistics was okay but man oh man, did the Agility X murder me! Half an hour of pure torture! I feel good today though and I shall happily do it again next weekend:-). Yoga X today will hopefully be a breeze.

I started it about a week adn a half ago, but I also play volleyball and spin so I don’t follow the schedule completely.  The Warrior, and Agility are craazy !So is the cahllenge.  I did the yoga once but Im going to skip it this time around and go directly to Total Synergenics (Which wasn’t that hard).

My biggest problem is my diet so as long as I can keep that in check I will lose those stinking 5-8 lbs that i need to…or atleast get rid of my a$$ that I have all of a sudden grown in the past 10 months!

@SupermansSweetheart:  My FI is doing P90X3.  He’s been doing it very consistently so far so I am excited to see what his results are like!

We are both changing our diet and being more consistent with our workouts to look good in May.  I want to try P90X3 with him but so far he’s been getting it done when I am not around.

I currently am starting up again with p90x (I only do 5 of the workouts, core synergistics, plyometrics, kenpo x, yoga x, and cardio x) and I find them difficult some days because they are so long! I may look into the p90x3, thanks for the suggestion!

FI and I did it this summer. It was fun and gave us energy so we’d go on a 3 mile run or walk afterwards. It was something fun to do together. I don’t think we really lost much if any weight but were already really muscular so there wasn’t much to lose.

@hkinsley:  Yeah, I thought it was just me that did not find the Total Synergistics all that hard. After the Core Synergistics from P90X2, this one was a total breeze. I am yet to try The Warrior and The Challenge. And I must say, that although I enjoyed the yoga, I prefer the P90X2 one as well. I think what I will end up doing is selecting some videos from the P90X3 and alternating them with P90X2. Time is not really an issue for me and I do not mind spending an hour on a workout.

@SupermansSweetheart:  Googling now what a fatigue mat is because at the moment I am hopping around on tiled floor which is not good either. I will update you on how it all goes. I have been doing P90X and P90X2 but not consistently. I am looking to sculpt my abs and obliques.

@DesertLady:  is P90X2 much different from the original P90X workouts?

@mm86:  There are a few differences. Firstly, the P90X2 workouts are tougher with the exception of the Yoga video that is shorter and not  as intense. The focus is also on incorporating core and cardio work in a lot of the workouts. For example, the plyometrics in P90X2 will work your core as well. I also thought that he used a lot more yogic moves into the workouts as well and I love yoga so this was a pleasant surprise. I did not follow the recommended schedule so I do not know what the differences are in the schedules.

I’ve heard really good things about P90X and my friends have been doing them before too!  I’ve started Crossfit about two months ago and that has been working very well for me!  I find it very hard to motivate myself if I’m not working out with other ppl or in a team setting.

@mm86:  The workouts are really intense and I did burnout a couple of times. I just started the P90X3, where the workouts are only half an hour long and so far I am loving it. I recommend that you try the P90X3 over the P90X2. So far it has been easier to maintain the schedule. Today I will be doing my 6th day straight of workout and I do not feel like I am half dead like I did sometimes with the P90X2.

@DesertLady:  hmmm maybe I’ll stick with the original P90X workouts until I’m back where I was before (I used to be able to do them easily…now not so much!), and try them then maybe.
