I’m just wondering, who is the more affectionate one in the relationship? The one who says the cute things more, loves cuddling more, and displays their affection more?
I think I’m the more affectionate one of the two of us, though it’s a near tie

My FI is way more affectionate. He’s big on PDAs too which make me cringe. Haha not that he’s trying to make out with me or anything but he has no problem kissing in the cereal aisle at the grocery store and I think that’s super weird.

My FI is very affectionate. I catch myself pulling away sometimes because I tend to feel smothered. I try and not do that because I love him and I know he just likes being close. I am also a ‘sleep on your own side of the bed damn’t’ kind of girl lol.

FI-to-be is affectionate, though pubically not as much as I would like. I am a very touchy-feely person (my love language is physical toich) so I would be happy to cuddle and kiss all day. He is more independent and likes to have his own space, it’s nice sometimes, when I need a bit of ‘me time’ he’s happy to oblige. When it comes to being in bed, he is overly affectionate, we have to cuddle up first before he can fall asleep, though I like to sleep in my own space.
I’m more affectionate over all, though FI-to-be has his moments!

My fiancé says the most romantic cute things but I’m more a touchy feely affectionate. it works for us 🙂

We’re both affectionate in different ways. In public, we both like to hold hands and kiss every now and then. We try to keep the PDA to a minimum. In private, we love to cuddle. I’m more of a night cuddler, and he’s more inclined to cuddle in the morning.

I’m not an affectionate person in general. Not touchy/feely person. So he is definitely more then me.

He is! I’m getting there, but my ex was really not into displays of affection or romance, so this is taking some getting used to. I had a bit of trouble believing my SO at first when he’d do or say romantic things – kind of like Carrie reacting to the Russian in Sex and the City. I love love love how romantic and affectionate he is, though! During our last visit (LDR) I was over the moon the entire time.

I’ve never been much of an affectionate person and my DH very much is! So we even eachother out, I think!

I voted wrong! I meant to say “I am” but accidently put that my FI was. Oops.
Although it’s pretty even… when we’re physically together I’d say I’m more physically affectionate and he’s more verbally affectionate (which isn’t to say he isn’t physical, but it’s hard to top me when I costantly have my hands on him). So we’re even then. When we are long distance I am probably more verbally affectionate than him, which puts me in the lead!
Ah, I don’t know. He’s gotten so good in the past few months, so maybe we’re more even now!

I’ve never really been a touchy-feely person, and have some weird thing about making sure I don’t intrude everyone else’s space, plus I’m fairly shy. My FI isn’t terribly outwardly affectionate much, but more than me! My parents thought that he liked me more than I liked him the first time they met him… But I also think it is weird to be all over someone especially in front of your parents…
