Who is using a hoop/crinoline skirt under their ballgown?

I wore a crinoline under my dress. It really enhanced the skirt!

There are one or two photos where I kicked up my dress a little and the crinoline looks so nice underneath!

Mine is a tulle ballgown too, and WITHOUT a crinoline or hoop it’s already so damn puffy I’m seriously considering removing a layer to tone it down a notch.

I wore a hoop! My dress was 53lbs, so a crinoline couldn’t properly lift it!

I wore a hoop!  it kept the dress off my legs and it was soooo much cooler (June + outdoors = hot).  Plus it puffed out the way I wanted it too 😀

I wore a drop waist crinoline skirt. It was more mermaid/trumpet fitted but woked great because I wanted my ballgown more fitted at the waist and flared out towards the bottom:

I’m just wearing the skit slip thing that DB sold me. It does the trick to make the skirt poof.

I also wore a dropped waist crinoline skirt. My dress had built in crinoline but I wanted more poof.

@Ryansgirl:  Squeee that’s exactly (well, in possibly a different color) what I want to do!  Where did you get it, or did you dye it yourself?!?

I’m planning on wearing a hoop skirt to poof out my aline tulle skirt. I want it to be more round at the top…like Cinderella.

@supersandra:  Actually I found someone on Etsy (who happens to be on the Bee too!) who made it for me!  But I just tried searching for her on Etsy, and she’s not there anymore 🙁
