- Wedding: June 2014 - Catholic Church Ceremony & Restaurant/Bed & Breakfast Reception
Let me set the scene for you real quick. Our reception will be outside behind a B&B with mountain views in June. Our colors are bright red and navy with accents of orange lillies, daffodil yellow, light blue, herb/mossy green, and burlap.
The tables are long family style under a tent outside with white tablecloths, burlap runners, and centerpieces of mismatched wine/beer bottles turned flower vases and potted herb accents. Think “boho-picnic-vintage”.
We are having a sit down dinner with “brunch” foods. Other than my bridesmaids wearing red, there will be a handful of splashes of the color (in flowers, etc.) but not much so we thought red napkins would be a good accent piece. The plates will either be white chinet or those thick clear plastic. Real silverware and clear glasses.
Which one do you think works well with the described setting?
Option 1: Dinner napkin with personalization set on top of a white linen like napkin.
Option 2: “Guest Towel” (commonly used in bathrooms, but I like the length- I think they’ll give a good visual on the long tables) set on top of white linen like napkins.
Option 3: Picnic checked linen-like napkins.
Option 4: Solid white or solid red linen like napkins.
Thanks for your thoughts, bees and happy weekend!
