I grew up around here, I don't know any wedding planners offhand but I'm planning mine and I had planned my brother's wedding a few years ago. You don't have to pay me, I would just like to help until you can find one :3
A friend of mine got married last October in Northern Va and her wedding planner did and amazing job. I'm planning on using her for my wedding also. She's great with working with budgets and has amazing ideas. Let me know if you want her information and I'll pass it on to you.

I am new to NoVa....Just started as an athletic trainer at a local high school. My fiancee lives in Philly, but I want to get married here (He'll be moving here after the wedding). I have no idea where to even start. There is SO much to see and places to go here!! I need a wedding planner! Does anyone know of a really good one that can help me with finding a venue and making my vision come true (in a place I barely know)? I just started my first job after Grad school and both of my parents have passed, so my fiancee and I will be paying for this on our own....'
