I love HeatherCollins35' s site for invites...also embellished by Tiffany. And there are several more designers I'm eyeing.
I love some of the jewelry designers and am probably going to buy a coin pearl necklace for the b'maids as their gift..some beautiful stuff?
So, do you etsy? If so, where can you be found lurking?
I looooove Etsy! There's just so many unique items on there. I am almost always checking out either jewelry or the books/journals section. I drool over bindingbee's journals probably more than anything else, though, especially the upcycled ones. I actually bought two of her journals for my shower hostesses; but I'd like to buy several more for personal use. ;)
I luuuuuuuuuuuuv Lindsey Ryan's invitations. She created Miss Perfume's exquisite invitation suite, and she is working with me to create a rather different custom invitation. She has also been great and is working within my budget!
I actually love her invites, but love the rehersal dinner invites even more..those are very elegant!
Nanda did all of my bridesmaid jewelry. One word: INCREDIBLE.
Oops...HeatherCollins85! Not 35. My bad.
Here is a sample of one of the invites she did for me (slightly different though)
I just started looking on their a few months ago and I love the site!!! I've been looking at tons of designers modern looking invitations..like the one above, but I don't think those people came up in my searching! I better check again! Having a unique spice color is proving a bit difficult with invitations..
Definitely good to know which jewelry sites you gals like...
Shameless plug for a friend of mine who sells handmade hats/scarves and jewelry:
I got an incredible bolero for going to and from the reception from bonzie on etsy. If anyone is looking for something like this for church or cool weather, def check out her site!
I'm planning to get a personalized pet silhouette made for my friend's wedding from here: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6975960
I can just see it hanging over his food dish! It's going to be great!
Rob and Lean - rings
Holly Stalder - shrugs
Naoki - jewelry
There are many, many more... but these are my very favorites!
I have a coworker who makes handmade jewelry and I keep bugging her about getting an online store at etsy..Cheryl rocks and is very talented!
haha.. I was thinking of starting the same post. ;)
I got a gorgeous bracelet and hairpins from GlistenDesigns - http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6471100
Tina does fantastic custom work and is a joy to work with!!
I am a fan of Etsy although I would recommend getting insurance on all that you ship! I purchased a garter set that cost me close to $40 and it was delivered to another house and now I am screwed out of the money. Although, I did order another set from her, <span class="dark_grey_text" style="font-size: 11px">GarterLady. She helped me out a bit. I also love <span class="dark_grey_text" style="font-size: 11px">HILDASelements she is wonderful! Great place to get beautiful handmade stuff!
LOVE Etsy. . .never even heard of it until i came on here :D i bought my veil from AnnMarieBridal she has wicked cute veils and other unique ceremony items she also does custom work. . go check her out shes awesome :D
I got little clutch/wallets for my girls from SewGracious. She's super easy to work with and really nice!
I got my caketopper from NakedPeggies- amazing!!
Aaaaaand- I got cufflinks for the guys from there... but I can't remember the seller :(
Our cake topper is by Nicole W Clark off etsy. I CAN NOT wait to get it, and can't believe I have to wait til the day of to see it. I'm entrusting my best friend to make the final decision on it, and guard it with her life until the big day. Since our dog and cat can't be with us that day, I'm having them put on the cake topper as well so they will sorta be there. It was the first and easiest decision I made for our wedding, and I can't wait to shadow box it along with other wedding stuff so I can gawk at it whenever I want
LOVE etsy! So much so that I sell on there, myself! ;-) I also love the vintage sellers, since I collect vintage jewelry.
I worked with FeatheredNestPress for my invites. She did a custom design for me. I also ordered custom cufflinks and Christmas gifts also. I love etsy.
We worked with designerpi for our invites. They are simple beautiful.

(This was the design and color)
Also, I got my veil from BellaBridalVeils for $28 including shipping. Who doesn't love that?!
@doctorgirl: Thanks for the Noaki reference! I bought a bracelet from her that I'm in love with, and now my mom is hooked too!
Where do I begin?? I ADORE etsy!! I just bought my dog a doggie "wardrobe" from BigDoggyBling, who makes the cutest designs for dog collars and leashes. She is so accommodating to whatever you need. Tulaloo is doing my beautiful invitations. I desperately want to order my wedding jewelry from luxedeluxe. What more can I say? I'll be ordering my bridesmaids gifts from there too!
So many great sellers on etsy! But we just got a cake topper from Naked Peggies. I think it was the wedding detail my fiance has been most excited about, actually!
My invitation site, of course! :) hehe
I'm a graphic designer by day, bride by night. WOOT!

My favorite is DecadentDesigns. She did my bridal shower invitations (the Calling All Princesses) and she will be doing my programs too. She has beautiful invitations...I love my invitations I ordered somewhere else but I would use her if I hadnt already :) I wish I had more parties I needed invitations for!
i <3 etsy! i got so many of our wedding goodies on there. it's such a great place to get gifts for the maids & groomsdudes too. i also happen to sell my artsy fartsy stuff on there in my shop. anyone else on here have a shop? we should be etsy pals :)
I'm not going to lie, I did not know about etsy before I started wedding planning. Its amazing though! So many talented people!
I stumbled upon 2BirdStone's shop
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6413976
because I was looking to get a crinoline dyed, my propblem was I couldn't even order a crinoline from davids bridal because I am in Canada. Ashley purchased the crinoline for me and I paid her through paypal. She is amazing, and has been so helpful!
So happy I found her!
My friend's new etsy site!
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'lucida grande'; font-size: 11px">joelinha.etsy.com
Thanks for all the tips ladies. I'm definitely going to check Etsy out for all the wedding knick knacks!
I *love* Etsy. There are a few sellers on there that are fantastic- I am a big fan of these handcrafted perfumes by Loreto. They're fresh, smell very natural and non-chemical and everyone compliments me on it when I wear it. My favorite is the Stargazer Lily, which just so happens to be my favorite flower.

Tell her Krista sent you :)
Also, I love the Alchemy part of etsy - I couldn't find any satin rosettes that I liked for my wedding shoes (wanted ones that match my J Crew satin clutch), and within a day I had three offers of people to make them. I LOOOOOVVEE the ones I bought (and she now sells them in her store!). I haven't sewn them on my shoes yet... :)

i heart etsy! Fubabee is an awesome etsy seller! her designs are so chic and simple! here's a link to her blog!
wow I just got into Etsy w/all the wedding invitation looking and had NO idea some more things would be available of value to me like veils! thanks ladies, I must go check more of this out! I've been obsessing over the perfect invites...have a whole bunch of designers on Etsy looking for stuff for me, etc...I'm still undecided somehow. But Ms. Editor- I do love designerpi's!! And for that cost, nice. She did a mock up one for me too, hers are fun!
I must go check out veils on there now, jewelry....love it!! :)
I haven't bought anything off Etsy yet, so thanks for all of the ideas!
I thought I'd share this... I was flipping through InStyle and found these earrings priced at about $80. I posted an alchemy request and Glamkate is going to make some earrings like this for $12-15. Thought I'd pass it on!
