@jdhall89:  What about something from After six? They make a fabric called lux Chiffon and it looks quite similar to silk?

Or After six? Has a fabric called matte Satin?

Or Alfred Sung has a fabric called Peau De Soie

I’m wearing a monique lhuillier bm dress this weekend and I’m pretty sure it’s silk chiffon. May also want to check out Ivy & Aster or Jenny Yoo.

Modcloth!

I like the idea of using white/off-white/ivory dresses for a wedding dress. I am huge on the mismatched bridesmaids so that’s usually the look I picture – but these are all pretty cute:

EDITED – sorry I thought she was speaking about using white dresses for BM’s – readded dresses for bridal attire.

This one is from NastyGal – disregaurd the name – its gorgeous

This on is from Asos – and it has a sweet/soft look to it

It’s not silk – but this Adrienna in Lace is so AWESOME!

And this Adrianna has some pretty intricate dtails on the front bodice. Super Cute – yet couture

This is a House of Frasier – and it’s probably the closest to what you asked for

I think Watters also uses silk in their line.

You can always try going to a tailor and having a custom gown made.  Depending on the tailor they may let you bring in your own fabric.  Silk is expensive fabric, but doesn’t have to be *that* expensive.  I get $18/yard silk charmeuse from Mood, and two yards will make a short, slim dress for me.  4 yards can get you a fuller/longer skirt.  Duchess satin (peau de soie) is more expensive, usually around $40/yard.

Adding a few more…

This is also a House of Frasier – but has some detailing on the bodice

Also thinking you could look at prom dresses in white too. I like this one and this one best 🙂

Good luck OP. Don’t forget to think outside the box!!!

I’m putting my BMs in ivory Jim Hjelm Occasions, and I notice they also have white often!
