I am thinking of Crate & Barrel and Macy's, for sure. Is it too much if I add Target?
How many places are you registering at?
We are registered at Crate & Barrel and Bed, Bath & Beyond. I think you can add Target if you want, especially if you aren't registering for tons of stuff at each place and/or have lots of wedding guests.
we registered directly on pfaltzgraff for dishes only, because they were the only place that had the plates that i liked of theirs. we're registering at crate and barrel and i'm deciding between macy's and bed bath and beyond (i like the sheets and comforters at macy's better than bbb).
we registered at dillards, target, and wal-mart (i tried to keep everyone's budget in mind except i cannot figure out exactly what i want to register for so there are like 30 things on each lol!!)
AND one of my bridesmaids is already asking about showers!!
We only had one registry but our guest list was a max of 100 and we didn't have an engagement party or shower.
We're registered at Macy's and Bed, Bath & Beyond. We were going to add another, but decided to keep it to 2.
we're planning to register at crate and barrel and target...we were thinking of bed bath also, but not quite sure...
4 Places, but just because we needed to add on Target!
Macy's
Williams-Sonoma
Pottery Barn
Target
Three. We would have done just two (Macy's and Crate & Barrel), but we were lured in by the universal registry at Amazon.com :)
Macys's Bed Bath & Beyond, and Kohl's. All were pretty good. Kohl's was cleaned out oafter my showers. I had some things on more than One list, so I kept an eye on them.
For sure Target and Macy's and we *may* do Crate and Barrel as well.
i'm doing macys, crate and barrel, and target. reassuring to see thats what a lot of you guys are doing too! i was just going to do macys and target but i just love some of the things at crate and barrel! i think 4 is fine too! especially with lots of guests and/or showers...
We're at C & B and Macy's! Personally, I think three is overkill. Especially if you think you're going to get mostly cash for your wedding. I fear a third registery would mean people would buy a little of this and that from each, but I'd never complete a set of anything. Of course, if you know you're going to have a bunch of showers and/or a huge crowd at your wedding, then you are probably safe with three. Good luck!
We just registered this past weekend!
We registered at Crate & Barrel and Bed Bath & Beyond...they have everything!
I feel like 3 is overkill, and you can definitely meet all price points at most places....
I think we'll do 1 or 2 actual stores plus a Wishpot registry for some of the more unique items that we were hoping to register for. My fiance is an architect, and he really likes cool designer-y items like some things that are sold at Unica Home and also at other independent stores, so we figured a wishpot registry was a must for us.
4- (but I only have 3 on our wedding website). Macy's, BBB, and Williams-Sonoma. We also registered for a few things at Crate & Barrel but there are so few that we don't count it and will probably just buy those items with the completion discount later.
We did two (Macys & Crate & Barrel) for most of our stuff. We couldn't find silverware we liked, and stumbled upon some, so we added a third registry with JUST the silverware.
I tried to have three different price points for everyone that's the reason why I registered at the different stores.
3, BBB, dillards, and we added williams sonoma b/c there was some specific kitchen items we had our eye on.
*and for 3 different price points as well.
We did C&B and Bed Bath and Beyod. We are going to also register at REI later to get some camping gear. Who knew they had a registry?
We are inviting 150 people. So far, we've registered at Macy's and Amazon. I'm debating between Crate & Barrel (I love their stuff but there's no local store) and Pottery Barn (their stuff is only okay but there is a local store).
Macy's, Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, and William Sonoma...that way there are different price points.
We did 3, I really only wanted 2 though...Crate and Barrell and Target ...however, we didnt want to get linens and bath stuff at crate and barrell bc its really expensive but we didnt like targets quality. so 3 it is!
Two...but I am so temped to add a Third (pottery barn!)
1)William Sanoma
2)Macys
We just couldn't find everything we wanted at one or two places, so we're registered at:
Williams-Sonoma
Pottery Barn
Crate & Barrel
I'm registered at three places. C+B, Macys, and Michael C. Fina (but for only 3 place settings of silver. So).
We're registered at Target. I'm thinking about registering at Macy's too but I'm not sure.
I was thinking about our guests budgets, and since we don't know many upper-class families, why register at more pricey places, when places like kohls and target have the same things for less?
we'd originally done BBB, but now we did Target & Pampered Chef.
I figured we might as well keep BBB because whatever doesn't get bought, we get 20% off. whereas neight target or PC has an incentive like that.
Were going to do:
Williams Sonoma
Crate and Barrel
Target
I think that includes everyones budget!
We have registries at Macy's and Crate & Barrel. I think adding Target would be feasible for you. For us, things started to overlap a bit, so keeping it at two registries was perfect.
@crebre-Yay! I'm not the only one that registered @ walmart!!
I did BB&B, Walmart & Kohls.
3 - We're thinking Crate & Barrel, Bed, Bath & Beyond, and either Macy's or Target
We're doing
Williams Sonoma
Pottery Barn
Target
-honestly, I could do without Target but figured we should have some cheaper options!
We're changing Target to Walmart. The prices at Target and BBB are about the same :)
I think I'm going to do BBB, C & B, and maybe Target. There isn't a C & B where we are getting married, but my sister had a lot of luck with people buying online & shipping the gift to them. Since we're getting married 5 hours from where we live, I'm hoping the word will spread to do this again so we don't have to figure out how to get stuff home.
We did two - C&B and Macys. I made my mom check the registries last night to be sure it was balanced in terms of pricing (she's, how shall we say, cheap?), and I got the go ahead. I think it's possible to appeal to different budgets at just two stores.
