I'm getting one when my contract is up in August. I'm hopeful I'll get the newer version though by then. I have an Ipad that I'm obsessed with so getting an Iphone just seems like the next logical step.
I'm currently on Verizon, but FI's family is doing that conversion from Altell to ATT, so we've yet to decide what company we'll go with when he's off his parent's plan in July. I'll leave mine then as well (wooo, first joint bill as a couple!) and compare Verizon/ATT at that time. Either way, I'm getting the iPhone, but I'll have to wait. @Lillindy: Any date rumors as to when iPhone 5 makes it's debut?
@SoontobeMrsA: Our contract has been up since last March because we've been anticipating the iPhone coming and didn't want to be locked in the contract. So now it's like, since we waited this long do we wait a few more months or just bite the bullet now for a sure thing?
@NDBee: I've heard rumors that it will come out in June since that's when apple has released new iPhones since 2007. But, it's a rumor and no one seems positive if the iPhone 5 will be an option for Verizon & AT&T or just AT&T.
I wanted to pre order an Iphone today... but after FI researched it more, he said that our monthly bill would go up $20-40/month :(

Girls I'd check to see - I didn't think my contract would be up until May, but lucky for me it was up in January. I think they might've moved the days up bc of the iPhone. So check on the Verizon Wireless website, you might luck out.

Hubby and I are itching to, but we didn't pull the trigger because of rumors of the iPhone 5 coming out in just a couple of months. Also, Verizon recently launched an ultra-fast 4G LTE network--but the iPhone 4 won't be compatible with it, so maybe the iPhone 5 will be?
How about you, did you pull the trigger and pre-order one today?
