Why would someone pay $379.99 (the cheapest on the site) – $549.99 CDN for a Dyson fan?
Does ‘choppy air’ really bother people that much? For $500+ I’d rather get an AC!
If someone has bought a new Dyson fan, can you explain what makes it worth the price?

Dyson products are great. Myself, brother, mother and aunt all have Dyson vaccuums and swear by them but a fan? I wouldn’t spend that much on a fan. It must be the most amazing fan EVER for that price! I’m assuming the price reflects in the quality as it does with all their other products.

the fans are actually pretty cool. is it the big big one? they’re almost totally silent. also, is it the fan/heater combo?
FI wants a small one of the fans to put on his desk. he overheats all the time.

@colorofmyheart: That was the price range for all their fans. I think they are a cool idea, but not for that much money!
@xdaydreams05x: I have a vacuum and I do like it! I just can’t image justifying that cost for a fan.

i really want one but I don’t want to pay for it. The buffering (as they call it) really does bother me. FH always sleeps with a fan blowing in his face, it drives me up the wall. I can’t stand the noise or the feeling. There’s also no dust accumulation and no rish of fingers or hair getting caught. (i still wouldn’t pay that much for it though)

@MsGinkgo: I don’t like the feel of the fan air either. but yea, it’s a bit expensive for a fan
