@CarterLove:  I planned my own and it was awesome.  The only person’s opinion I had to listen to was my groom, so my whole planning experience was pretty low drama.  Since I was DIYing so much of my wedding, I didn’t really need help finding a florist or calligrapher or other vendor.  Plus, my venue included catering, rentals, servers, cake, etc, so I just had to find a photographer and a DJ.  If I had to do it again, I’d still plan it myself.  Not sure how to vote though since I did the planning with my FI, but the DIY pretty much all on my own.

We hired a wedding planner, which was awesome! We picked out everything we wanted and she did all the logistical work and the wedding was absolutely flawless.

I pretty much did it all myself.  My dad did help me pick out the venue though.

Mostly me and my mom! My FI had only a few things he wanted input on, and we did those together. My mom is doing a lot of the legwork for me though which is great. I’m getting married in my hometown and I’m not there, so it’s nice to have someone who is.

There’s no real option there that fits me! I’d say it’s evenly split between me and my parents.

Everything was planned by me but I had input from my husband and mother. I would gather all the options, make appointments, book vendors, etc, but I would ask my husband’s opinion on things before making the final decision.

I did most of the planning, but ran every detail of my “top picks” by him first before choosing each vendor. He was also specifically in charge of choosing the ceremony musician, DJ, and the tuxes, but ran them by me as well.

I had a little bit of help from family in the form of opinions as well.

We have a destination wedding, so we hired a wedding planner in the country of our wedding.  We also have a travel agent to assist our guests.

Its been mostly my mom and I, with input from my fiance.   I think my mom took off on somethings more than I did.  She is doing the DIY center pieces since I am not at all crafty.

I planned it all myself in that I chose every last detail, but I had a wedding planner in the Caribbean who did some of the logistics too. I did a lot of vendor booking myself however. I ended up diy-ing a lot of stuff to ship over there. I tried n tried to get ppl to help me with stuff and just there wasn’t much anybody else could do.

I am handling all logistics, meetings, ideas etc. Then I run them by my groom and if it gets the thumbs up it goes forward. Easy peasy.

I did the legwork, he generally made the final call!
