Who says you can't have your cake and eat it too with an elopement?

I love this!  It was originally on SMP and is a "scheduled" elopement (my style) by Lisa Vorce and it was just the bride and groom in Mexico at a hacienda!

    How absolutely gorgeous is that?

I personally think a "scheduled" elopement could be amazing.  The bride and groom are such a handsome couple too and the aisle style with the petal design is so pretty!

Gorgeous. Our friends have amazing pictures from their elopement. There is something so pure and romantic about just the two of you.

I know there have been as of recent some brides who have had sudden budgeting issues and were wondering of options since they can't afford the big, honkin' wedding and I think today that $$ speaking, sometimes either a smaller destination wedding or a "scheduled" elopement can be absolutely amazing!  I'm an intimate weddings gal and think this is about as intimate a wedding as you can get!

Even if you had all the money in the world, that is absolutely such a beautiful wedding and so intimate.  Just the two of them.  It's awesome these days that you can have it your (and FI's) way and run with whatever you want!

I was on SMP too and saw this gorgeous wedding.  What I didn't understand is why it was stressed as an elopement or why we treat smaller, more intimate gathering as less of weddings?  Just because you have 10 people in attendance doesn't make it any less of a wedding complete with ceremony and reception.

    wow beautiful

I think its because some people think of elopemnt as married in a courthouse no frills no nothing or married in vegas
